Amend Your Ways

Jeremiah 7:5-7

7:5 For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour
7:6 If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt
7:7 Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever.

God is interested in you. He wants to establish and elevate you. But there's a vital point to this - your ways! Your ways can delay God as well as stopping Him. Remember, your accuser is always there to accuse our ways. That's why God wants our ways to be amended.
Note this, our ways towards HUMANS and GOD must be amended. If your ways are okay in the Lord's sight then we have no interference. Remember. Proverbs 16:7. My brethren, let's try our best by resting fully on God's provision of Grace to making our ways pleasing before God. Shalom!!!

Lukewarmness and indifference in religion is the worst tempter in the world. The husband of a lukewarm wife is always confused as he would not know when and how to please the wife.
