God's Just Wrath
Nahum 1:2-6

2  God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.

 3  The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of histories feet.

 4  He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: ...

 5  The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence ...

 6  Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.

In this month of GATHERING, may those who continually oppose you be opposed by God. They will see God's wrath.
Don't trigger God's anger and jealousy by displeasing Him. Don't make yourself an enemy of God. God's anger and jealousy is just. Be God's friend.

HEART-RENDING is divinely wrought and solemnly felt. It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.
