2 Timothy 1:7
[7] For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Hello beloved! Today we'll discuss the first fruit of the Holy Spirit - LOVE. Once we are born of and led by the spirit of God, we must exhibit God's love for God by loving humans. The love of the spirit is Agaph and it is the intense desire to please God and do good to mankind.
This love was shown by our Lord Jesus to all. He came to die for us even when we do not merit it. The spirit's love is loving someone when that people is not qualified to be loved. This love doesn't select whom to love. God's spirit of love is the power we have against evil and evil doers because nothing harmful can be done against love. God's love in our hearts makes our heart to be zealous to please, serve and obey God thereby making us God's kingdom addict.
We can say we are of God when Agaph is in us, 1 John 4:7. How well do we love? Your love for God must compel you to please God. Peace!

HEART-RENDING is divinely wrought and solemnly felt. It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.
