Luke 8:7

[7] And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.

Just as we have weeds in the farm, we also have weeds in life. Things that are irrelevant and can't determine our progress and salvation are the weeds of this life. These things encompass us every moment.

In my little garden, I observed that the crops that are in the midst of weeds are not as flourishing those that aren't in the midst of weed. Also, I erroneously cleared a crop instead of a weed because the crop was among the weed.

Beloved, as Hebrews 12:1 advises us to lay off those weight of sin (weed of life), we have to comply because it is for our betterment. If you want to flourish as God ordained before you were formed, you have to layoff from the weeds of life.

Samson was stopped because of the weed he took upon himself. The weed of life isn't only sin but also bad association. Rehoboam was destroyed by the bad advice he took from the youths. Beware of the weeds of life!!
