Behaviour Makes or Mars
Proverbs 4:26 – Keep a watch on your behaviour; let all your ways be rightly ordered.

Child of God, are you thinking why we are advised in such a way concerning our behaviour? Why should a child of God keep a watch on his or her behaviour? Does our behaviour have anything to do with our purpose on earth or to the faith as Christian?

Yes! Our behaviour is very important to the faith and in realization of our purpose on earth. Christ condemned the hypocrites and the Pharisees because they behaved in contrast to what they teach. It was the behaviours of the early disciples that gave them the name Christians [meaning Christ like].
Queen Vashti was stripped of her honour because of her behaviour, Esther 1:12. Nabal was near instant destruction because of his behaviour, 1 Samuel 25:10. Beloved, there are many instances like that in the Bible.

Do you want to go to the top? Do you want to be made and fulfil your purpose here on earth? Do you want avoid blaspheming God’s name? If yes, then watch your behaviour. Your behaviour will either make you or mar you.

Watch your behaviour beloved of God! Shalom!
