Run to Win
1 Corinthians 9:24 – Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

All humans born into this earth is running a race – one kind or the other. The race could be academic, matrimonial, spiritual or others that I know not of.

One must define his or her purpose of running a race. There is an advice to us this day that we should run in order that we may win and obtain the purpose of running. This is to say, that fact that you are in a race doesn’t guarantee you winning because others want that which you want also.

Now ask yourself these questions: Do I know that I am in a race? What kind of race am I into? Do I have a purpose of running? Do I want to win? Do I know that others are in the race with me? In this my race, do I have things that weigh me down and do I have things that inspires me? Do I run my race with divine wisdom?

Beloved, if you don’t run in order to obtain or to win, you will run in vain. None is crowned for a lost battle or race. Run to win!

Prayers
Jehovah the giver of strength and wisdom, give me wisdom and strength to run the races in my life and of most importance the spiritual race of life, in Jesus name – Amen.
