The Best Profiting Relation
Proverbs 7:4-5

 4  Say to wisdom, “You’re my sister!” and call understanding your close relative,
 5  so they can keep you from an adulterous woman, from the immoral woman with her seductive words.

The Bible and God admonishes us to take WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING as a sister and close relative respectively. Why?
Wisdom is essential in living because without wisdom one can please both God and human. Those that lack wisdom slows the wheel of progress in their life as well as others. They also bring disgrace, calamity and reproach.
Note the order of preference in the Bible. Wisdom as Sister, Understanding as a close relative. Wisdom is to be chosen first but understanding is very vital. Hence, 'in all thou getting get an understanding'
Brethren, wisdom and understanding help us in our Christian race. Securing us from falling & failing.
Notable, when we understand why God created us then we will live our lives fulfilling His purpose and this can be achieved when Divine Wisdom is implemented.
Where is the starting point? Wisdom or Understanding? Understanding of course but wisdom makes the understood to excel beyond understood fellow.
