Take A Short Rest!
Mark 6:31 – And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.

Rest is a very vital thing. Working without physical rest is catastrophic to our health. As a Christian, we live our life by Jesus Christ’s standard. This verse makes us to understand that our master took a rest in a certain time when the crowd was much.


Reading from the Easy English version, “Many people were coming and going. Jesus and the disciples were too busy even to eat. So Jesus said to them, “Come with me to a place where there are no other people. We should be alone together. Then we can rest for a short time.”” You see, child of God, please don’t destroy your health and physical body. Take a rest like Jesus and His disciples did.

Note however, that the rest you are to take is a physical rest and it should be for a while. Beloved, never in your life should you will take a spiritual rest. Spiritual rest is not permitted only a short physical rest is permitted.
