Ephesians 6:18

[18] Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Hello God's Image! Having seen that praying in the spirit is very important and nonnegotiable, we will look at another thing will prayers are amiss. Today we will look at WATCHING and tomorrow will be PERSEVERANCE.

Watching is the act of observing. When we pray, we should observe our life and the situation, to know the progress report. Prophet Elijah did this; he watched (observed) as he prayer for rain, see 1 Kings 18:41-46. Why should I watch after praying? Vain repetition of prayer points are likely to occur if we don't watch, Matthew 6:7. Also, while we watch, we should not watch we our physical eyes. Elijah's servant saw a little cloud that can't never physically cause a rain but Elijah saw rain already about to fall.

Beloved watch while in prayers not to pray amiss via vain repetition of words. Shalom!
