The King's Portion
Daniel 1:8 KJV

But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

On this earth, there is a king who rules not in accordance to the will of God just like the Babylonia king who was a pagan king. Daniel knew this and separated himself.

Beloved, have you recognized who rules this earth? Psalms 2:2, Acts 4:26. Do you do things that the ruler of this earth loves? Be like Daniel and separate yourself.

The King's portion are those negative pleasures and desires, actions and inactions. The Bible even told us not to love the World because the ruler of the world isn't God. The Devil rules the world but by your power of choice, you can say no to his ruling.

By saying NO, Daniel became unique and was favoured. Beloved you see! The King's portion doesn't make anyone great but dead, 1 Timothy 5:6.

"Rend your heart, and not your garments." --Joel 2:13 Apart from vital godliness all religion is utterly vain; offered without a sincere heart, every form of worship is a solemn sham and an impudent mockery of the majesty of heaven. HEART-RENDING is divinely wrought and solemnly felt. It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.

It Doesn't Matter

Shalom! Child of God, it doesn't matter where sugarcane is planted, it will definitely be sweet. Light always Chase away darkness both in the physical and in the spiritual. I decree and declare today and always that, you will never taste bitterness, sorrow, sadness, failure and shame this month. Your life will be filled with joy and happiness.
