Month of Sanctification
Exodus 29:41-45

[1] And the other lamb thou shalt offer at evening, and shalt do thereto according to the meat offering of the morning ... for a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the Lord.
[42] This shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations ...
[43] And there I will meet with the children of Israel, and the tabernacle shall be sanctified by my glory.
[44] ... and the altar: ... both Aaron and his sons, to minister to me in the priest's office.
[45] And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God.

The sacrifice God needs from us today is OURSELVES, Romans 12:1. Scarifying ourselves in an holy and acceptable way results to sanctification of our life in totality and the abiding of God's presence in our lives. This makes us special among others.

Beloved, this month and beyond, let us stay on the Holy Spirit for empowerment to sacrifice ourselves unto God.

"Rend your heart, and not your garments." --Joel 2:13 Apart from vital godliness all religion is utterly vain; offered without a sincere heart, every form of worship is a solemn sham and an impudent mockery of the majesty of heaven. HEART-RENDING is divinely wrought and solemnly felt. It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul.
