ost often, we do see or hear men say their last words or wish before they die. Their last word is the vision, passion or the mission they want to actualize. Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ before He ascended into heaven, also gave his last word- “Go ye into the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned”. This was his last words. Are you obeying it? At a point in our lives, when we are living in sin. He called us to come and we came. At another point now, he is sending us to go. We should not disobey this call to go.
This is the duty Christ entrusts us with. There are many in the valley of decision who need your attention. From this week onward, make up your mind to do more of the work of evangelism. It is our supreme task.

"Rend your heart, and not your garments." --Joel 2:13 Apart from vital godliness all religion is utterly vain; offered without a sincere heart, every form of worship is a solemn sham and an impudent mockery of the majesty of heaven. HEART-RENDING is divinely wrought and solemnly felt. It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul.
