YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Bible Text: Hebrews 13:5, PSALM 118: INTRODUCTION There many times in life when men feel they are alone because all things seem to work against them. But God’s word says in Hebrews 13:5b “for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” NAOMI Naomi was in that situation. Source of Help Psalms 121:2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. There is help that leads to more problems but there is another help that is above all helps. This latter help leads to total victory and happiness. Where do you seek help from - Human or God? God should be the source of everyone's help because He knows all things and He never sleep nor slumber. Because He is our keeper and He is the good Shepard. Beloved, stop sourcing help from fellow humans. Yes, God uses human to help human but not when we primarily seek help from human. In seeking for help, put God first, Proverbs 3:5-7. You see, in all out ways even in seeking help, we should never forget to put God first. Beloved, you will never be disappointed when you seek for help from God and equally when you continually wait on Him. Shalom!

Free Conscience? Acts  24:16 And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men. How is your conscience? Is it void of offence towards God and human? How do you run this Heavenly race? Are you running disregarding your neighbours, stepping on them too? We must run like Apostle Paul, avoiding to offend God and humans. That's why he said in Romans  14:15 that "But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died." Beloved, your conscience should be free from offending God and also free from offending human. Yes! Humans are difficult but strife to place God and try to please human but not to you disobeying God. Shalom!

Pleasing Who? Galatians 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. In service, the rewarder of servitude is to be pleased and not a fellow servant. We are all called to work as servant in different nomenclature towards expanding God's kingdom. It is ironical that as a servant you want to please a higher servant and displease the master. Just as Apostle Paul refused to please human so also we should refuse to please human. Jesus never please human to the disobedience of His Father's will. Hear me, whether you're a clergy or a laity, strive to please God. Read, 1 Thessalonians 2:4, Acts 5:29. Use this to judge yourself if you are indicted, "John  12:43 For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God." Shalom!

Truthful Service John 4:23-24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. In rendering services, one has to be truthful. Hypocritical and eye-based services are not expected from believer. Christ knew that people render services and worship that is on pretence, falsehood and hypocritic. Beloved, look at this in Ephesians 6:6 and Colossians 3:22, Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God. Beloved strife to render service in truth and not falsehood, pretence, eye service, lip service or as a human pleaser. Read: Acts 24:16, John 12:43, Galatians 1:10, 1 Thessalonians 2:4, Acts 5:29. Now Consider! Psalm 50:22 [22] Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver. Life is so sweet, full of pleasures and  enjoyment. Has the pleasure of this world taken you afar from your creator? God gave us the go ahead to enjoy life but not to forget Him, Ecclesiastes 11:9. Whatever we do in life, we should never forget God. To forget God is not to acknowledge Him, not to seek Him and not to put Him first. Beloved, do you have time for your Creator? Do still fellowship with Him? Have your quest to get fame, wealth and connections pulled you from God? Look at what God said in the verse and make a change. Return back to God now. Shalom!!!

BEWARE OF FALSE PROPHETS  Ac 20:29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. (KJV) We are in the season of high technological innovation, manipulations and deceptions where counterfeits are competing favorably well with the originals. For the undiscerning minds, it has become too difficult to distinguish the fakes from the original because the fakes are branding favourable well with the real. A prophet is a man who clams to be sent by God to teach the people and give them messages from God. Therefore the word prophet is all inclusive- the pastors, Reverend, Bishops, Apostle, Evangelist etc. These classes of people claimed to be sent by God and of courses, have to convince the people. Hence some subscribe to various methods of conviction. Many people are easily convinced when they see or hear about a miracle. Beloved, I want to let you know that miracles are not evidence of the genuity of those prophets. Because

THE DANGER OF ADULTERY Lust not after beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids. For by means of whorish woman, a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life. Can a man take fire in his clothe and not be burned? Can one go upon hot colas and his feet not be burned? So he that goeth into his neighbour’s wife; whosoever toucheth her shall not be innocent…. But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul”. Proverbs 6:25-32.   A dultery is simply sex between married persons who are not legally married. It is therefore a sin, God permitted sexual relationship to take place only between a man and a woman who are legally joined together. Any thing short of this is adultery. DEFINITION OF FAITH H ebrews 11:1, defined faith as the substance of thing hoped for, the evidence of thing not seen. Faith is that force that will help you to realize your tomorrow, if you do not doubt today. It is putting all your eggs in God’s basket, then counting your blessing before they are hatched. It is the force of a full life. Is it like radar that sees through the fog, the reality of things at a distance that the human eye cannot see. It is that force that sees through the invisible, believes the incredible and receives the impossible. It is what you believe and not what you know. It releases the miraculous. It is the way to God’s divine influence. It is simply when you bring God into the picture. It is the anchor of soul, the stimulus to action and the incentive to achievement. It gives us the courage to face the present with confidence and the future with expectancy. Faith will make a giant out of a midget, an extra ordinary out of the ordinary. Let

EVANGELISM M ost often, we do see or hear men say their last words or wish before they die. Their last word is the vision, passion or the mission they want to actualize. Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ before He ascended into heaven, also gave his last word- “Go ye into the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned”. This was his last words. Are you obeying it? At a point in our lives, when we are living in sin. He called us to come and we came. At another point now, he is sending us to go. We should not disobey this call to go. This is the duty Christ entrusts us with. There are many in the valley of decision who need your attention. From this week onward, make up your mind to do more of the work of evangelism. It is our supreme task.

BE DEVOTED I t would be more gratifying, if you can give more time to spiritual matters this week. Weigh yourself in the living scale of the word of God. Is your prayers life as fervent as before? How many hours have you been setting aside to study the word of God? What have you been doing concerning soul winning/personal evangelism? Don’t spend this week pursing business or getting busy achieving nothing at the expense of your spiritual life. Remember, what shall profit a man, if he gains the whole world and lose his soul. Pay lesser attention to the vanities of this life. Be more committed to kingdom services. Your church needs your prayer more this week. There are missionaries in the field who need your attention this week more that ever before. Apart from praying for them, you can sow into their lives, it would go a long way in putting smiles on their faces. God bless you as you head this call. Amen.

SELF DISCIPLINE By self discipline, I mean being able to control the way you behave or respond to a given situation and make yourself dot things that you believe you should do without being compelled. It is the capital price that must be paid to obtain the price (greatness) it is doing what is demanded and not what is convenient, it is the key to success, the gateway to distinction, the guarantee for dignity and the key to relevance. When you are not disciplined, you can as well forget about success. As a student, you should be able to go extra mils by studying hard while others are fast asleep. As a worker or a business man, you should be diligent, dedicated and be punctual at the place of your work and be ready to put in extra time and efforts, if necessary. As a minister of the gospel, you must discipline yourself not o live to the way others do. You must be disciplined enough to put in extra effort in fasting, prayer and in studying of the word. You must go at least a step highe

SPEED AND ACCURACY W hen we take a look at things right now, we will discover a vast change in trend, fashion, science, technology and even in the behavioural pattern of man. In today’s world there is the need to get things done as fast as possible and very efficiently. With the advent of the modern day computer, we are no longer measuring our performances in per hours or pr minutes but per seconds. In today’s world, that adage, “slow and steady win the race” has soon become obsolete. The in thing now is, “speed and accuracy win the race”. This is true and absolutely correct. We are in word where we need to wake up to face reality. We need to wake up to tackle the challenges ahead of us. There is the urgent need to brace up so as to able to meet up. Even the church business has gone so sophisticated. If you practice church business the way it was done ten to fifteen years ago, you will appear to be two archaic before the people. DEFINITIONS OF LOVE T he acronym for love is let offences vanish entirely. BE A GOOD LEADER ‘A good man leaveth an inheritance for his children ….. Proverbs 13:22” A s we enter the second month of the first quarter of the year, I will like you to  make up your mind to be a good leader. Every man is a leader. It all depends on the capacity in which you are acting. A man in one way or the other will find himself playing the role of a leader, at least as a father in his house or as a leader in his community, local government, state or at the national level. It is very unfortunate that as a nation, we have not be successful at producing good leaders to a larger extent. I am sorry to say that in my own opinion, what we have had most as leaders are those who have successful helped to squander the wealth of this nation, bastardized the economy and dashed the hope of the common man.   What was supposed to be our inheritance have been exported out of the country and kept overseas with little or no hope in sight for the “children”. PATIENCE I n an ever changing world where we live today, very little is known about patience. In fact many people are deleting it from their dictionary. Every body wants to arrive at the same time by all possible means. This is one reason for the ever increasing evils in the land. God in His wisdom gave room for patience, other wise; he could have finished the work of creation under one or two days. But he took his time to do everything in patience and it was perfectly done at the end of the day. There are many while in problem, compound their problems out of lack of patience. They rush to get many things done at the same time, but ended up muddling everything together. Are you a true Christian, but in one problem/challenges or the other? Please be very patience. OPPRESSION To oppress means to treat somebody in a cruel and unfair way, especially by not giving them the same freedom, rights as other people. It is also when someone is made to be able to think only about sad or worrying things. Do you know many of us are guilty of oppression? By the way we sometimes treat our spouses and children, the labourers or workers who work for us, the way we treat our pastor or our members. Etc. It is unfortunate to say that there are Christian sadists who enjoy oppressing people. God abhors oppression that was why He promised to deal squarely with all oppression. Psalm 103:6 says, “The Lord Execueth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed”. He also warned us against oppression of any kind. Whether a stranger. “Thou shalt neither vex a stranger nor oppress him …” Ex. 22:21; 23:9. INTEGRITY “Moreover thou shall provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness… to be rulers. Exodus 18:21 I ntegrity is a great virtue; it is the quality of being honest and ought to be found in every believer. We should be conscious of this fact having strong moral principle. This is one quality which that there is a “big eye” up there that is looking at us and hence be motivated to walk in integrity. There are many Christians who are too hypocritical. In their secrecy, they throw away morals, responsibility and ethnics to the dust. Where is our integrity? It is the integrity in you that will make men trust you. You may be admired as a genius , envied as a wealthy man , feared as a powerful man but only through your character will men trust you. Arthur Friedman puts it this way, “Men of genius are admired. ANOINTED TO RULE IN THE MIDST OF THY ENEMIES TEXT: PSALM 110:1-4 Introduction As children of God, we are anointed to rule in the midst of our enemies: Mathew 28:16-28, John 1:12 , Acts 10:38 The primary reason why Jesus Christ came to the earth was to take the power that was lost to Satan by the disobedience of Adam from Satan and return it back to man. Hence, every believer in Christ has been empowered to have dominion and rule over the enemies. Since Christ is the head of all principalities and powers, we are also sub-heads of all principalities and  powers. Have this believe in you that God has given you powers and you are above the rulers of darkness in this world and in the spirit. You are born of God hence you are like the wind, non can hold you, non can tell where you are from or where thou go to. You are empowered not because of your works or righteousness but because of Christ's work and righteousness. Shalom!!!
