Protect Your Kingship

Protect Your Kingship Proverbs 30:3 3  Do not give your strength to women, or your ways to that which is the destruction of kings. Do you know you're royalty? First understand and know your royalty status in Christ Jesus, so that you can jealously protect it - Gal 4:7, 1 Peter 2:9, Romans 8:17. Jesus is a Priest and a Prince, we as His followers have been given the royalty gene hence we're prince and priest. Now that through God's spirit you have come to understand and know that you are royalty, there are things you must not do. Consider two things now, Strength and Way. What do you use your strength for? How is your way like? When your strength is used for women (things of the flesh), you can't avoid destruction, similarly when your ways are not the ways of God. Look at Samson, David, Esau and Judah etc, all had setback because of the flesh. Gal 5:19-21, Col 3:5-6, Romans 1:29-32. Beloved, protecting your royalty is to be dead to the flesh and alive in the s...

What's Your Wish?

What's Your Wish? Proverbs 30:7-8 7 I have made request to you for two things; ... 8 Put far from me all false and foolish things: do not give me great wealth or let me be in need, but give me only enough food: 9 For fear that if I am full, I may be false to you and say, Who is the Lord? or if I am poor, I may become a thief, using the name of my God wrongly. As a human, what is/are your wish(es)? It's very important that whatever our wish maybe, we need to be sure that our wish will not ruin us when it manifest. As we can see, the philosopher wished good things but he also prayed that the good things shouldn't ruin his life and bring down the name of God. The saying goes, "too much of everything is bad". In our wish for wealth, fame etc, we should also ask God to control us so that the wealth and others we wished will not separate us from God's love and destroy our life. Prayer God don't allow your blessings in my life to separate me from You a...

Rule That Brings Joy

Rule That Brings Joy Proverbs 29:2 & 16 2  As the righteous grow powerful, people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, people groan. 16  As the wicked grow powerful, transgression increases ... The Bible has clearly stated the truth and this is exactly what happens. So what shall we as the led do? I guess we should pray against the growth of the wicked in power. That's, we should pray for God to change them. Let's hear from another spiritual, Pro 28:28 When the wicked rise to power, people hide themselves, but when the wicked perish, the righteous increase. Let us pray 1) Lord, we thank you for our leaders. 2) Lord, change the heart of our leaders to doing your will. 3) Jehovah, distant every evil adviser from our leaders. 4) God, change or dethrone every power drunk leader. 5) Lord, those who will do your will as a leader, enthrone them irrespective of their present status. 6) God let power change hands from the wicked to the righteous. 7) Thank you our fath...

Better But Not Best

Better But Not Best Proverbs 28:6 It’s better to be poor and live a blameless life than to be rich but crooked in one’s lifestyle. Hello brethren, welcome today. From today's scripture, God is not against riches neither is He supporting poverty. God's wish for us is not to be better but Best. Then what's God saying in today's scripture? Crookedness! God dislikes crookedness. He loves truth. He enjoined us to be truthful in our dealings with human and worship to God (Exodus 23:1-3, Joshua 24:14, Psalms 15:2-3, John 4:24, Jeremiah 5:1-3). Lies, dishonesty and falsehood are all what the Lord frowns at. Hear Proverbs 6:16-19 "... six things that the LORD hates— seven, in fact, are detestable to him: Arrogant eyes, a lying tongue ..." Beloved, Christians or non-Christians if we should avoid crookedness, lies and deceptiveness then this World will be a better place. Don't pursue riches at the detriment of humanity. Try your best to live a blameless life...

Return Home!

Return Home! Proverbs 27:8 Like a bird that strays from its nest is a man who wanders away from his home. Home is a place of safety. Being at home makes no stranger or outsider to victoriously attack you. A bird that wanders from its nest can't be protected by the mother. Beloved, Are you at home? This home isn't the physical homes and buildings but the Spiritual. A home not built with hands, the best place to be and the most reviving arena. This home keeper is Our High Priest (Hebrews 3:1, Psalms 121:4). He watches over us constantly. Leaving Home will mean leaving God's protective zone (Psalms 91:1 - The one who lives in the shelter of the Most High, who rests in the shadow of the Almighty will say to the LORD, “You are my refuge, my fortress, and my God in whom I trust!”). My beloved, no place is a home as with Christ. Any life outside Christ is disaster. Come to Christ and don't wander away. This is the only security measure we have on earth against all tri...

Inappropriateness

Inappropriateness Proverbs 26:1 1  Like snowfall in summer or rain at harvest time, so honor is inappropriate for a fool. Whatever is inappropriately results in shame and calamity. Giving honour to a fool is putting a square peg in a circle hole. See how the Bible described it, '... snowfall in summer...' If honour isn't for fools then what's for them? The folly in them has to be taken away both spiritually and physically by the rode. Verse 3 of our text says, ' A whip is for the horses, ... a rod is for the back of fools.' The rode will take away that foolishness in them. Until the foolishness is taken away, honouring a fool is inappropriate like a gold ring in a pig snout. Beloved, let negative honouring & praise singing stop so that this world can be a better place. Say the truth in love. Instead of openly honouring a fool only to secretly stab him or her, you better openly give him a love stab. Open rebuke is better than secret love. May God help...

Useful Waste

Useful Waste! Proverbs 20:4-5 4  Take away the waste from silver, and a vessel will come out for the silver-worker.  5  Take away evil-doers from before the king, and the seat of his power will be made strong in righteousness. A silver is not precious and not admired by all until the dross is taken out of it. So it is with human and substance. No human is a waste and non is useless even if they actions are inhuman. What is needed is to take the dross out of them. There is tendency that the enemies has sowed tares thus making they seem useless but when the tares are uprooted, the human is normalized. The Bible wants us to see people from the optimistic view by taking out the 'less' in the useless and add 'ful'. Even the kings, rulers and leaders, when the dross (evil advisers and doers) is taken out, they become better kings. Prayer! 1)Father, take away any dross in my life 2)Lord let every evil adviser be taken away from the kings of this Earth 3)Lord refi...

Envy Not The Wicked

Envy Not The Wicked Proverbs 24:1-2  1  Don’t be envious of wicked men or wish you were with them,  2  because they plan violence, and they are always talking about trouble. A wicked human is he/she that always thinks evil, disregard and disrespect God, and they are never peaceful. The wicked are not friends of God. They refuse to change from there evil ways and schemes. Their fate has been decided since they refuse to repent. They have no root that will sustain they in hard times, that's why they easy fade off. Our root is in Christ and we stand forever. In verses 19-20 says,  'Don’t be anxious about those who practice evil, and don’t be envious of the wicked. For the wicked man has no future; the lamp of the wicked will be extinguished.' You see, the judgment has been pass on them. Also in Psalms 73; 37 and others, you'll see reasons not to be envious of the wicked. Let the wicked that refuses to change continue in wickedness (Rev 22:11) but don't fo...

Oppressive?

Oppressive? Proverbs 23:10-11 10  Don’t move ancient boundaries or invade fields belonging to orphans;  11  for strong is their Redeemer who will take up their case against you. God is a just God and doesn't promote or support oppression. The orphans are highly valued in God's eyes. Yes the Orphans (not just the parent less but those that totally and solemnly trust in God), beware of they because offending them is inviting the wrath of God. Look at verse 11, their Redeemer (God) will take up their case. Do you what to fight with God? Don't think it! Do you cheat on Land issues, removing ancient and legal boundaries? The Lord hates such. Please read, Prov 22:28, Deut. 14:19, Deut. 27:17. You see, a curse is on anyone that removes boundary, ‘Cursed is the one who moves his neighbor's boundary stone.’ Boundaries are means of keeping someone and something within legal limit. In a sermon, we'll look at boundary in the spiritual view, God helping us. Brethren, d...

The Best Reward

The Best Reward Proverbs 22:4 The reward of humility is the fear of the LORD, along with wealth, honor, and life. It's no longer news that it pays to be humble but how many wants to be play the role of humility this day. What pains me most is that the youths of these days want everything in haste - honour, riches and wealth; without being humble. It's not true that humility is foolishness. As we can see, the rewards of being humble are incomparable: Spirit of the fear of God Wealth Honour Life. It's the rush and pride that results to many untimely death among the youths. These day the young die more than the old. Are looking for honour, then look at Proverbs 18:12 '... but humility precedes honour.' Honour can't and will never come through pride, rather it's FALL. My beloved brethren and mostly my fellow youths, please be possessed with the humble spirit of God so that you can go higher, live long and be wealthy. Note, don't be evilly h...

Not You But God

Not You But God Proverbs 20:22   22  Don’t say, “I will pay back evil.” Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you. Some might not concur with this verse and some of likely content. But let's look at some vital reasons why we should let vengeance for God. 1) Its only God who solemnly have the knowledge to avenge that why we should not pay evil for evil. 2) Another reason being that only God know the content of human heart. The person that did you evil might have done it erroneously but he/she has a good heart. That's, the fact that someone did evil doesn't make the person evil. 3) We also do evil against God. If God should always avenge the evil we did against Him, can we survive it? 4) Forgiveness holds the key to our divine forgiveness, restoration and healings. Job forgave his friends. 5) Forgiveness promotes our health positively. A merry heart... Proverbs 17:22. Beloved, this day upwards, make it your aim to forgive unconditionally & be blessed divinely. Pr...

Righteousness Not Sacrifice!

Righteousness Not Sacrifice! Proverbs 21:3 3  To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to Yahweh than sacrifice. Most times we say, 'Obedience is better than Sacrifice', which is true but do we know that obedience is part of DOING WHAT IS RIGHT? Sacrificing in obedience is like given a human gift when you have offended him/her. God can't be bribed. It's either you do what is right or you don't. Righteousness is like the rain that falls on the seed that makes it germinate. That's righteousness help our sacrifice to be responsive. Look at Psalms 51:16-19 16  For you don’t delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it. You have no pleasure in burnt offering.  17  The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.  19  Then you will delight in the sacrifices of righteousness, in burnt offerings and in whole burnt ... Brethren, sacrificing without doing right is like faith without work w...

Knowledge First!

Knowledge First! Proverbs 19:2 It isn’t good to have zeal without knowledge; nor being hasty with one’s feet and missing the way. 'Look before you leap', is a come saying but how many actually look before leaping? The Bible is advising us to have knowledge before doing anything. This is a success tip for us brethren, even when we are zealous and in haste, we should first get the needed knowledge to avoid missing the way and having a disappointment and frustration. Take a look at the seven sons of Sceva, they lack the knowledge of Jesus (God), hence they met their waterloo. Look at what the Bible says in Acts 19:14-16 "...The evil spirit answered, “Jesus and Paul I know, but who are you?” The man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded." They were unknown by the evil spirit because they know not God. Also see, Romans 10:2, they have a zeal ... but not ... kn...

Name of Safety

Name of Safety Proverbs 18:10 10  Yahweh’s name is a strong tower: the righteous run to him, and are safe. A tower is the tallest building in a place. In a tower, one can see anything before others. One in a tower can't be destroyed by what destroyed others not in a tower. The of Jehovah is like a strong tower reasons being that, it's the name to which everything and everyone bows to. It's the names that stills the troubled and liberate the captive. It's the name that destroys every barriers and creates ways in the wilderness. It's the righteous (those that live rightly) that are saved when they use the name. Now, a human that lives right but didn't use the name of the Lord can't be saved. In any situation, using the Lord's name guarantee our salvation. Which name? Acts 4:5-12, Philippians 2:9-11. The name of the Jesus was exalted hence Christians should be constantly equipped with the name, 'JESUS'. The name calmed the storms, so th...

Stitch It Now!!!

Stitch It Now!!! Proverbs 17:14 EasyEnglish - To start a quarrel is like the first small hole in a *dam. Stop it before it is too late. ISV - Starting a quarrel is like spilling water— so drop the dispute before it escalates. NHEB - The beginning of strife is like breaching a dam, therefore stop contention before quarreling breaks out. Being preventive is wisdom. Early detection and immediately reaction/action is the key to a wild calamity. The saying, "A stitch in time saves nine", is not wrong. God wants us to act with wisdom to prevent issues that are preventable rather than crying for help later when the issue has gone out of hand. Look at Abram, he acted wisely and prevented the expected strife between Lot and himself. This is a way of living in peace with all men. 2 Corinthians 13:11, 1 Thessalonians 5:13, 1 Timothy 2:2, Romans 14:19, 2 Timothy 2:22, Hebrews 12:14 & Psalms 34:14. As we make it our aim to be preventive in life and live in peace, may God...

Proverbs 17:14

Proverbs 17:14 BBE  - The start of fighting is like the letting out of water: so give up before it comes to blows. EasyEnglish  - To start a quarrel is like the first small hole in a  * dam. Stop it before it is too late. ISV  - Starting a quarrel is like spilling water— so drop the dispute before it escalates. KJVLite  - The beginning of strife  is as  when one letteth out water: therefore leave off contention, before it be meddled with. NHEB  - The beginning of strife is like breaching a dam, therefore stop contention before quarreling breaks out. I decided to bring this verse in five different translations, so that you can meditation, ponder and understand it clearer. The message will come in less than an hour time. Thanks.

Success Made Easy

Success Made Easy Proverbs 16:3 3  Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. It is the starting point to being successful and but it is not a guarantee for success. To plan does not mean you are already a success but it is very important to plan. The most important is after planning commit your plans to the Lord. He has the final say and not any human. Proverbs 21:31 - "... victory is of the Lord". Beloved, we can't do it without God and get success or victory. He controls everything and everyone, so He can tune all to work for your success and victory. More so, only God knows the end from the beginning, that's why we should never forget to put God first place in our plans. Look at king David; he always commit his plans to Jehovah and God always give him the needed strategy for success. This is David was successful in all His battles. God can not fail us. Committing our ways to Him is trusting God. We're Victorious Yes we're vi...

The Real Difference

The Real Difference Proverbs 15:6 6  In the house of the righteous is much treasure, but the income of the wicked brings trouble. Looking at this two classes of persons, one will expect the wicked who gets more income through his/her wicked ways to have many treasure in his/her house. But this is not so. This affirms the fact that blessings don't come from the income in one's possession but from God. Righteous doings yield to blessings and peace. Now the wicked despite his/her income does not have peace and real joy. Yes money answers all things but not Joy nor Peace especially for the wicked. Also, the only way to get Peace and Wealth is through righteousness, not wickedness. Psalms 9:16-17 With this knowledge, do you want to get Wealth and Peace? If yes then be righteous. Psalm 1. Here is the real difference, the wicked has money but no peace and the righteous does has peace and prosperity both in this world and in the hereafter. Now it's a choice for you. ...

The Way to Life

The Way to Life Proverbs 14:12  12  There is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death. There are so many but not all leads to one's destination. The destination someone desires or seek determines the road to follow. If one's destination is Enugu, he or she can take Lagos road and get to Enugu. Beloved, what destination you seek? Life or Death? The way of life is different from the way of death.  Matthew 7:13-14. The way is known by the landmarks and features. So from your way you'll know your destination. It's expedient for us to ask for the way if we don't know the way and not to follow our heart. Jeremiah 6:16. The way of the heart might be death at the end because we don't know our heart and we can trust our heart. Only God's Holy Spirit and not the heart of man that is reliable. Brethren, are you plying the way of your heart or following the ways of God? Life is achievable only when we follow God's ways. Deut 30...

Safety and Satisfaction By Words

Safety and Satisfaction By Words Proverbs 13: 2-3 2  By the fruit of his lips, a man enjoys good things; ...  3 He who guards his mouth guards his soul. One who opens wide his lips comes to ruin. In the Bible, the lips, mouth and tongue means same thing most times. Lives and situations are made or marred by words. You can see that to enjoy good things doesn't stop at doing good but also having a good lip (tongue or mouth). Longevity of life is obtainable by good lips also - 1 Peter 3:10, Prov 18:21. Beloved, how do you make use of your lip or tongue? Are you words live giving? Are you snared by your words? As little the tongue is and as insignificant you may take your words to be; they causes a problem that can't easily be solved like a wild fire. James 3:4-5. Right words make a human perfect. James 3:2 Remember, each word we speak is potent and influencing remember, the world was created by the spoken word. Prov 12:18-19,22; 15:1-4;7. May Holy Ghost tame our tongue...

A Crown or Rottenness?

A Crown or Rottenness? Proverbs 12:4 4  A worthy woman is the crown of her husband, but a disgraceful wife is as rottenness in his bones. Men don't be fast to show your wife because it is the woman that is referred to here. Note that the man is also referred to her. '...they will be one flesh'- Genesis 2:24. Are you a crown to your partner? Are you disgraceful to your partner? As a man or woman, try to be worthy. A husband that is a drunk, a womanizer, lazy, a woman hitter etc is not a crown to her husband. Also to the woman, if you are a gossip, lazy, an adulterer, a nagger etc, know that you're a rottenness to your husband's bone. The singles, your characters now if it group you under being rottenness, please change now so that your marriage will not experience negatively. The woman crown your man and vice versa. Wives be subject to your husbands and husbands love your wives. Eph 5:22-31, Colossians 3:18-19, 1 Peter 3:1-9 God help us to be crown not...

Measuring To Profit

Measuring To Profit Proverbs 11:1 A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight. To some it is necessary to be smart in measurement to get more profit but it is not God's way. God is interested when it comes to measurement because He is a just God. As little as a false measure might be, it is an abomination to God. It's only what God delights in, that His blessings dwells upon. God delights in accurate and right measures but some human delights in false measures. How can such fellow be blessed? Look at Deuteronomy 25:13-16 - You shall not have in your bag diverse weights, one heavy and one light. You shall not have in your house diverse measures, one large and one small. You shall have a perfect and just weight... Leviticus 19:35-36 - “‘You shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in measures of length, of weight, or of quantity. You shall have just balances, just weights, a just ephah ... Brethren beware and change. Shalom!

My Hands, My Wealth!

My Hands, My Wealth! Proverbs 10:4-5 4   He becomes poor who works with a lazy hand, but the hand of the diligent brings wealth.  5   He who gathers in summer is a wise son, but he who sleeps during the harvest is a son who causes shame. Why it's not the degree of work we do that we make with but the degree of God's blessing on our hands. That's, our wealthiness is not directly proportional to the extent we work. Yes, it is God that blesses but He needs a hand to bless. Deuteronomy 28:3-6 (all refers to the work of our hands). Have asked yourself why Jesus request for any meal, which He got 5 loafs and 2 fishes; to feed the about 12,000. Your hand has a contributory rile to play towards your wealthiness. Beloved, is your hand lazy or not? If your hand isn't lazy, are you diligent? Know you that you can't gather in summer neither harvest during harvest because you have a lazy hand. Everyday we seek God's bless but how is your hand, character and att...

Sweet But Deadly

Sweet But Deadly Proverbs 9:17-18 She calls out.. 17  “Stolen waters are sweet, and food eaten in secret is delicious.”  18  ... her invited guests wind up in the depths of Sheol. No normal person will love to eat gravel. Even matching gravel with bare foot is inhumane. Beloved whats the benefit therefore to enjoy a little and suffer much? 'Stolen Bread' is that good thing which is not yours. That woman/man that is not yours by God's Principle. That money, property etc that is not your. Decide to live and not die by partaking in stolen waters/bread. There is no true, real, genuine and everlasting life in anything that is stolen or gotten by deceit. Proverbs 20:17 - Bread gained by deceit is sweet to a man, but later his mouth will be full of gravel. Do you want to eat gravel? Would you like to have no 'teeth' because of that stolen bread? Don't listen to the deceiving voice, stolen bread is never the best. Go for Wisdom (Jesus) and bread will not be an...

Easiest Way to Wealth

Easiest Way to Wealth Proverbs 8:18-21  18  Wealth and honor accompany me, as do enduring wealth and righteousness.  19  My fruit is better than gold, better than even refined gold, and my benefit surpasses the purest silver.  20  I walk on the way of righteousness, along paths that are just,  21  I bequeath wealth to those who love me, and I will fill their treasuries.” People mostly work hard and labour hard to get wealth and still be righteous only to get one a leave the other. How can I can enduring wealth easily and still be righteous? Wisdom!!! For wisdom is far better that gold, silver and refined gold. With Wisdom you can amass numerous gold but with Gold you can't get wisdom. To get wisdom is to have a reverential fear for God, spend time with Him and be totally obedient to Him. Why not ask God for wisdom and excellent spirit to succeed? James 1:5. Wisdom is above Money. Wisdom (Godly Wisdom) when personified is Christ. Do you h...

The Best Profiting Relation

The Best Profiting Relation Proverbs 7:4-5  4   Say to wisdom, “You’re my sister!” and call understanding your close relative,  5   so they can keep you from an adulterous woman, from the immoral woman with her seductive words. The Bible and God admonishes us to take WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING as a sister and close relative respectively. Why? Wisdom is essential in living because without wisdom one can please both God and human. Those that lack wisdom slows the wheel of progress in their life as well as others. They also bring disgrace, calamity and reproach. Note the order of preference in the Bible. Wisdom as Sister, Understanding as a close relative. Wisdom is to be chosen first but understanding is very vital. Hence, 'in all thou getting get an understanding' Brethren, wisdom and understanding help us in our Christian race. Securing us from falling & failing. Notable, when we understand why God created us then we will live our lives fulfil...

The Seven Obstacles

The Seven Obstacles Proverbs 6:16-19  16   Here are six things that the LORD hates— seven, in fact, are detestable to him: 17   Arrogant eyes, a lying tongue, and hands shedding innocent blood;  18   a heart crafting evil plans, feet running swiftly to wickedness,  19   a false witness snorting lies, and someone sowing quarrels between brothers. Arrogant Eyes Lying Tongue Bloody Hands (innocent blood) Evil Planning Heart Wickedness Feet Lying False Witness Brotherly Quarrel Sowing Person These might be seen as minor but God detest them greatly. I called them obstacles because they hinders progress of someone who is a victim of them and also the one who practice them. To the practitioners of these obstacles, he or she can be positively useful both in the sight of God and Human. No person in the right frame of mind agrees to associate with a practitioners of these evils. To a victim, his or her pro...

The 'HER' You Must Run Away From

The 'HER' You Must Run Away From Proverbs 5:8-10 8   Keep far away from her, and don’t go near the entrance to her house,  9   so that you don’t give your honor to others, and waste your best years;  10   so that strangers don’t enrich themselves at your expense, and your work won’t end up the possession of foreigners. Because of the love the Lord for you and I, we have been admonished by Him not to patronize a 'HER'. Who is this 'HER'? An adulterer is the 'HER' that is being referred to in the Bible. The Biblical definition of an adulterer is one whose lips drips honey and speech is smoother than oil but in reality he or she is as sharp as two edge sword and as bitter as a wormwood. It's imperative for everyone to know who an adulterer is and not to patronize him or her. The consequence of patronizing an adulterer is also spelt out clearly in the Bible. ✅ A total waste will be seen in someone's life that patronizes an adult...

The Wicked and You!

The Wicked and You! Proverbs 4:14-15 14   Do not enter the path of the wicked, or go along the way of evil men.  15   Avoid it! Don’t travel on it! Turn away from it, and pass on by. The wicked is seen everywhere, everyday and every time but who is a wicked? We easy say 'You are wicked', 'This is a wicked fellow' What's your standard for classifying someone wicked? Psalms 7:14, Psalms 10:2-4 & 11 Biblically, the wicked is one that lives without respect and reverential fear for God. They have no peaceful end. God destroys the wicked and preserves the non wicked (righteous). Why are we admonished by the scripture not to buy, patronize and do what the wicked does? God is so much interested in you, that is why he wants you to stay out from wickedness. So that you'll be saved. The Bible didn't tell us not to preach to the sinners but it never wants us to do what they do. We can talk to them, show and bring them into the way of the Lord. ...

Hospitality

Hospitality ✂✂✂✂✂✂✂ PLEASE SEND BACK YOU WILL UNDERSTAND WHY Ruth went to her mail box and there was only one letter. She picked it up and looked at it before opening, but then she looked at the envelope again. There was no stamp, no postmark, only her name and address. She read the letter: Dear Ruth: I`m going to be in your neighborhood Saturday afternoon and I'd like to stop by for a visit. Love Always, Jesus Her hands were shaking as she placed the letter on the table. 'Why would the Lord want to visit me? I'm nobody special. I don't have anything to offer..' With that thought, Ruth remembered her empty kitchen cabinets. 'Oh my goodness, I really don't have anything to offer. I'll have to run down to the store and buy something for dinner.' She reached for her purse and counted out its contents. Five dollars and forty cents. Well, I can get some bread and cold cuts, at least..' She threw on her coat and hurried out the door...

Freedom from Spiritual Leprosy

Freedom from Spiritual Leprosy 2 Kings 5:1-14 None of Naaman's attribute could delivered him from leprosy. He was a mighty man but with an issue mightier than his mighty attributes and fame, this made him imperfect. This month is the month of perfection, hence God is out to perfect our lives. The miracle of Naaman's healing came through the singular act of obedience. No human's problem is his/her cross. Christ has already carried the cross on your behalf. God doesn't consider the duration before healing. Sticking to God's word results in miracles. God need from Naaman just HUMILITY and OBEDIENCE. James 4:10. The Blood of Jesus is represented in this context as River Jordan. The blood of Jesus is the provision of our healing. Titus 3:5, Revelation 1:5, psalms 51:14. ____ A sermon by Apostle Samuel Idedevwo of Christ's Chosen Church of God, Int'l, Abraka Branch.

Requisite to Life, Peace & Favour

Requisite to Life, Peace & Favour Proverbs 3:1-5 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. Obedience to the word of God is what gives long healthy, peaceful and favoured life. Are you obedient to God's words? Do you do His word or are you like he/she that reads only to forget; that's the reader but not the doer? James 1:25 Another key to enjoying a healthy, peaceful and favoured life is one being truthful and merciful. As we are merciful to others that the extent our Heavenly father will be merciful with us. Matthew 5:7. Looking at being truthful, one may say how does it got to do with having a peaceful ...

Seek Wisdom

Seek Wisdom Proverbs 2:1-6 2:4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;2:5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.
