Rule That Brings Joy
Proverbs 29:2 & 16

2  As the righteous grow powerful, people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, people groan.
16  As the wicked grow powerful, transgression increases ...

The Bible has clearly stated the truth and this is exactly what happens. So what shall we as the led do? I guess we should pray against the growth of the wicked in power. That's, we should pray for God to change them. Let's hear from another spiritual,
Pro 28:28 When the wicked rise to power, people hide themselves, but when the wicked perish, the righteous increase.

Let us pray
1) Lord, we thank you for our leaders.
2) Lord, change the heart of our leaders to doing your will.
3) Jehovah, distant every evil adviser from our leaders.
4) God, change or dethrone every power drunk leader.
5) Lord, those who will do your will as a leader, enthrone them irrespective of their present status.
6) God let power change hands from the wicked to the righteous.
7) Thank you our father for the  change.

"Rend your heart, and not your garments." --Joel 2:13 Apart from vital godliness all religion is utterly vain; offered without a sincere heart, every form of worship is a solemn sham and an impudent mockery of the majesty of heaven. HEART-RENDING is divinely wrought and solemnly felt. It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul.
