Requisite to Life, Peace & Favour
Proverbs 3:1-5

My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Obedience to the word of God is what gives long healthy, peaceful and favoured life. Are you obedient to God's words? Do you do His word or are you like he/she that reads only to forget; that's the reader but not the doer? James 1:25

Another key to enjoying a healthy, peaceful and favoured life is one being truthful and merciful. As we are merciful to others that the extent our Heavenly father will be merciful with us. Matthew 5:7.

Looking at being truthful, one may say how does it got to do with having a peaceful healthy favoured life. In the tongue there is the spices to live and the poison to die. Each time we speak, we release either onto our life. Proverbs 18:21; 1:31. Moreover, a lair is never blessed for telling lies. Rather he/she is curse. Proverbs 26:2.

Another key factor is how do you work; Trusting in God or your own ways? The ways of human can never be right. God has also cursed anyone that trust in his/her ways. Jeremiah 17:5, Isaiah 2:22.

Summarily brethren, to have a long peaceful, healthy and favoured life we have to
✅ Be obedient to God's word
✅ Be merciful and truthful
✅ Lean on God's ways.

"Rend your heart, and not your garments." --Joel 2:13 Apart from vital godliness all religion is utterly vain; offered without a sincere heart, every form of worship is a solemn sham and an impudent mockery of the majesty of heaven. HEART-RENDING is divinely wrought and solemnly felt. It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul.
