Divine Rest
Hebrews 4:1-11,  Joshua 21:44

And the Lord gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: ... the Lord delivered all their enemies into their hand.

This rest is not that of death but a stoppage from self struggles. A struggle free life, filled with divine favour. God is interested in our rest, putting little effort and having maximum benefits. It's not a life of struggling hard before eating. '... It's of the Lord that shows mercies'. This rest is triggered by mercy being shown from the Lord.
Remember this year is tagged, 'Total Increase & Perfect Rest'. By God's mercies I believed we have been experiencing total increase on every positive thing and now is the time for rest. May you experience an unending rest. God's mercies will locate you. You'll not struggle like an elephant only to eat like an ant. God will complement your little efforts. Just as leaf made axe float, your little effort will yield mighty results! Begin to enjoy DIVINE REST. Shalom!!!

"Rend your heart, and not your garments." --Joel 2:13 Apart from vital godliness all religion is utterly vain; offered without a sincere heart, every form of worship is a solemn sham and an impudent mockery of the majesty of heaven. HEART-RENDING is divinely wrought and solemnly felt. It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul.
