Do Your Search
Acts 17:11 – These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

While in college and high school, you will agree with me that after you are taught by your instructor, you carried out some search to attain the truth and to know more. This we all did for a degree and knowledge that is corruptible, aren’t we supposed to do more for a knowledge that incorruptible and that will lead to our salvation?

It is advisable that we should always search the scriptures even if it is the most revered religious leader or person that just spoken from the scripture. To stay deceivable then don’t study or search the scriptures but remember many even the agents of darkness can preach and quote the scriptures but they do this by tailoring the scripture to suite their purpose, 1 Thessalonians 5:21, 2 Corinthian 11:14-15.

Beloved study your bible frequently, 2 Timothy 2:15. Don’t just accept everything that comes from a religious person or leader but search and study to know more. Save your soul by searching and studying. May God empower us to with the spirit to study. Shalom!

HEART-RENDING is divinely wrought and solemnly felt. It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul.
