Let Manipulator Be Far, O Lord!

Let Manipulator Be Far, O Lord!
Judges 16:15-20 – That he told her all his heart, and said unto her, There hath not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto God from my mother's womb: if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man. [Verse 17]

People can be manipulated to do what they never wanted to do. The above scriptures make us to understand that Samson was manipulated and this manipulation led to his suffering and death.

When it comes to being manipulated, it doesn’t count if you are strong physically or not. It only takes the grace of God and your wisdom not to be manipulated. Everyone on earth is can be manipulated, of course even some angels were manipulated – Revelations 12:9, Genesis 6:2. The young prophet from Bethel was manipulated [1 Kings 13:11-24], the prodigal son must have been manipulated too [Luke 15:11-14] also King David [2 Samuel 11:2-5].

To avoid manipulation, we have been scripturally advised to depend on God [John 3:31], to always walk in the Spirit [Galatians 5:16], to resist the devil [James 4:7] and to consent not to sin [Proverbs 1:10], also to use wisdom [James 3:17].

Beloved, I pray that manipulators will never be close to us. I pray that you we will never be manipulated. I pray that the power and wisdom from above to overcome all manipulation be given us. I pray that the spirit of discerning will be upon us all. I pray that our salvation, destiny and purpose on earth will not be compromised by manipulators. I pray that in any area of life that manipulators have entered us and dealt with us, may God in His infinite mercies and love restore us back in Jesus name, Amen! Shalom.

Don’t Look Back!

Don’t Look Back! Luke 9:62 – And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. Have you answered the call to serve God as His son and daughter? Have you totally chosen Jehovah as your God? Have you decided to leave your old ways and cleave unto God? If yes! Beloved I congratulate you. But hope you took the cost of your choice?? [Please refer to yesterday’s sermon] God doesn’t want us to look back when we have answered the call, why? This is because of the following: Firstly, it brings shame to the body of Christ and makes people to despise Christ. Looking back is to be lukewarm and to depart from the first love! [Revelation 2:4, Revelation 3:16] Secondly, looking back makes the believer to suffer backwardness spiritually and physical. The faith of the believer suffers and takes a longer time to be rebuilt. [Hebrews 6:4]. Thirdly, looking back will make the person not to complete whatever he or she has started. This is w...

Heart Not Garment - 2

"Rend your heart, and not your garments." --Joel 2:13 Apart from vital godliness all religion is utterly vain; offered without a sincere heart, every form of worship is a solemn sham and an impudent mockery of the majesty of heaven. HEART-RENDING is divinely wrought and solemnly felt. It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul. Every covenant that do not bring light to your life, be destroyed now by fire! Whatever makes you to live by work and not by grace be destroyed! For God's name sake, let everyt...
