Remain in Christ
Luke 12:45-46
But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken; The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.
If I make ask, how's your love towards Christ? Is it waxing cool? Is it that first love or something less? Look at the speech of Jesus above and have a rethink.
Yes our master's coming is coming back. You may say you've been hearing that from your childhood, yes but don't concluded yet.
The servant repented of his good will because his master didn't come at the servant's expected time.
Our responsible is not to calculate the time of Jesus coming but to remain in Christ, to continue our goodwill.
Remaining in Christ and continuing in our goodwill will not only prepare us for eternity with the Lord but also it does show if we'll receive from God here on earth. God's asking us a question this morning, will I see you faithful at my return? Luke 18:8
Father, give us the Grace to remain faithful. We should continue in our watch, be steadfast, unmovable and always abounding in the faith. 1 Corinthians 15:58, Revelation 3:2-3.
Don't make your start countless by your riotous ending. Continue in Christ for He comes when none expected. Shalom!
Have a nice week ahead.
