Praying Amiss 4
Ephesians 6:18

[18] Praying always with all ... supplication in the Spirit,  watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

To persevere is to continue and disregard discouragement. Watching and perseverance in prayers are knit. You can't watch when you can't persevere and without persevering, you can have the faith to keep asking.

First thing to know before coming to God in prayers is that He is a loving Father and loves to do the request of His children but His will supersedes ours and His ways aren't ours. So, your expected time may not be His but in all we need to persevere so that we'll not pray prayers of a double minded man due to discouragement.

Beloved, Christ taught us himself about perseverance in Luke 18:1-8. Perseverance brings about unstoppable and incomprehensive miracles and answers. If Elijah didn't persevere, he would have not pray continuously but he did for seven times same with the man at Bethesda's pool. Shalom!

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul. Entering His Rest Hebrews 4:3 KJV For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. Total Increase and Perfect Rest 2016 was given by God. Looking at REST again, we found out there is no rest without believing in God the rest author and giver. Rest in this context is not death but a state of no physical struggles before benefits. Rest is a state of divine favour, no toiling all night and nothing to show. Believing in God is the prerequisite to entering His rest. His disciples entered into rest because 'At His word they cast their net', Luke 5:5; likewise the Zarephath woman in 1 Kings 17:15.
