Thy Habitation
Psalm 91:9-10

[9] Because thou hast made the Lord ... thy habitation;
[10] There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

Beloved in seeking for God's protection and blessings we must first question ourselves to determine what is our habitation.

Verse 1 advises us to deal in the secret place of the most high, God. It is when we dwell in God and make him our habitation then we can enjoy all the benefits in this Psalms and other benefits in the Bible.

One can't be disobedient to God's word and be dwelling in God at same time. Also, one can't be an expectant of the benefits in God's word while outside of God's word.

Beloved, what's the secret place of God? How can one make God his/her habitation? God's Presence (Holy Spirit) and God's word respectively are very important to every Christian to benefiting form this psalms and others God's benefit.

What/Who is your habitation? The Word or the world? Examine yourself & go to God! Shalom!

It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul.
