Is Your Lamp On?
Matthew 25:8 KJV

[8] And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

Lack of preparation always produce disappointment, frustration and confusion. The five that had no extra oil trimmed on their lamps only to find it out of oil. Beloved, is your lamp on? Do you still have oil in your lamp??

Your lamp is the reflection of your life. The way your lamp is so is the way your life is. The Bible admonished us that our light should shine to affect the heathen. Now let me ask, how can our light shine when our lamp is off and how can our lamp be on when our oil is out?

Beloved, it starts from getting an extra oil. Let us always have oil in our possession. Always do things in the spirit. Always be spiritually proactive. Listen sir, it is only those that are spiritually proactive that are always on the move.

Forget about the cares of this world and focus on your lamp and light remember that your lamp is a reflection of your life.

It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul.
