As Christ's Soldier
2 Timothy 2:3

Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

Hello God's Images, our acceptance to follow and serve God enlisted us into His army automatically. We are to grow in God's grace and become a good soldier. This grace is available for growth but until we decide to grow, we won't grow.

The above scripture advises us to endure the growing process, for it is part of our training. Yes! Hardness of different types will come, hitting you from every side but you have to hold on to the grace of God. In enduring the hardness we see and partake of makes us a good soldier of God whereby by our endurance we train the younger ones in faith. Paul endured and he was able to train Timothy and others.

Jesus even told us that hardness will come to us and we should know that He was hit and went through training by enduring, John 15:18. No enduring, no victory.

May God enable us to make do of His grace to grow becoming good soldiers of Christ, Amen.

Don’t Look Back! Luke 9:62 – And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul. Entering His Rest Hebrews 4:3 KJV For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. Total Increase and Perfect Rest 2016 was given by God. Looking at REST again, we found out there is no rest without believing in God the rest author and giver. Rest in this context is not death but a state of no physical struggles before benefits. Rest is a state of divine favour, no toiling all night and nothing to show. Believing in God is the prerequisite to entering His rest. His disciples entered into rest because 'At His word they cast their net', Luke 5:5; likewise the Zarephath woman in 1 Kings 17:15.
