Luke 15:17-18

[15] And when he came to himself, he said, ...
[18] I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

Beloved, I bring to you Heaven's greetings. Many people are like the prodigal son who treaded our sonship for the things of no value. But the joy if his prodigality is that he didn't continue in it but he came back to attain sonship through a gradual process. The father restored him and gave him a warm welcome.

God's image, in what area of life have you gone far from God? Have you sold your sonship for flimsy things? I assure you base on the scripture and grace of God that's available that if you can come back to God, there's restoration awaiting and available for you. Why continue in your prodigality? Arise from this day and come back to your father. Have you gone far from God in giving, service, praying, worship, evangelism and others? God is waiting for your return, COME BACK TO GOD NOW! Shalom!

"Rend your heart, and not your garments." --Joel 2:13 Apart from vital godliness all religion is utterly vain; offered without a sincere heart, every form of worship is a solemn sham and an impudent mockery of the majesty of heaven. HEART-RENDING is divinely wrought and solemnly felt. It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul.
