God’s Deliverance
Obadiah 1:17 – But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; … (KJV)
Obadiah 1:17 – But in Mount Zion there shall be those that escape, and it shall be holy; ... (RSV)
Calvary greetings God’s fragrance, hope you had a nice day in the Lord’s presence! Yesterday we studied the BBE version of the same scripture and we saw that we are kept safe in God’s presence. Today we will look at the KJ and RS versions.
God’s deliverance means God’s emancipation. In God’s presence, we get our freedom, liberation and emancipation. That is why the Bible says in the Presence of God there is liberty – 2 Corinthian 3:17.
Beloved, as you abide in the presence of God, whatever that has held you bound before now, must be destroyed. The presence of God is a fire and no evil stand tall in God’s presence. At the mention of His name every knee must bound; your captivity, hostage, chains and fetters must be destroyed.
You are escaping every seize in your life. Even as the Lord will deliver you and make you escape, beloved be holy unto Him by depending on the Holy Spirit and doing the right thing. Shalom!
