The Efficacy of His Word 2

Jeremiah 23:29 – Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

Hello God’s Fragrances! Do you know how powerful fire is? Do you know how powerful the hammer is? Fire burns all things that are brought to it. What about hammer? The rocks are not just broken but totally crushed by hammer.



The Word of God is more than the fire and hammer you see around you. If the fire around can burn down a house, metal and others totally then what about the Word of God? God’s Word is very powerful!

Now be pragmatic and begin to use the Word of God that issue that stands as a rock. Use the Word of God now. Those conditions that have held you back now give way now even as you are reading this sermon. I hear clear that that barrenness in your womb is gone. You are now fruitful. That tumour or fibroid is gone. Celebrate God for His Word that has done it.

"Rend your heart, and not your garments." --Joel 2:13 Apart from vital godliness all religion is utterly vain; offered without a sincere heart, every form of worship is a solemn sham and an impudent mockery of the majesty of heaven. HEART-RENDING is divinely wrought and solemnly felt. It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul.
