Altar Burning!

Altar Burning!

Leviticus 8:16 And he took all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the caul above the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and Moses burned it upon the altar.

The altar is not a place of receiving only but also a place of giving. Things of positive impact must be done on the altar not in a fetishistic manner. This is to prepare one of the days ahead for it's not when the flood has come that you begin planning for evacuation.

God instructed Moses to keep the fire on the altar burning continuously and it shouldn't go off.

{Leviticus 6:12-13
Meanwhile, the fire on the altar must be kept burning; it must never go out. Each morning the priest will add fresh wood to the fire and arrange the burnt offering on it. He will then burn the fat of the peace offerings on it.
Remember, the fire must be kept burning on the altar at all times. It must never go out.
(NLT)}

Do you have an altar relationship as a Christian? Do you burn on your altar? Prayers, Praises, Giving, Fasting and others are the wood to cost the fire to burn and remain on the altar. A cold altar cannot resist rubbish but will become a dumping ground for rubbish. A cold altar can't fight. Always feed your altar. Keep it burning continuously!!!
Not only Sin offerings are done on the altar; peace offerings, burnt offerings, Thanksgiving offerings are also done on the altar.
In computing, no input no output! For your altar to output for you then always input. Hannah kept inputting on Shiloh's altar before she met the altar for an output. Didn't it responded? Incomparably response to her input was given her-1 Samuel 1:7-20.
Brethren, may God empower us to keep the altar's fire burning.

The True Picture Of The Church Today II

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: Sunday 7th, June 2020. TOPIC: The True Picture Of The Church Today II TEXT: Rev. 3:15  MESSAGE "I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot".Vs 15, so then because thou art lukewarm, neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth. Lukewarmness and indifference in religion is the worst tempter in the world. The husband of a lukewarm wife is always confused as he would not know when and how to please the wife. So are members of the church whose heart cannot be determined. They are between two opinions. We also have these in the church because they are high minded and proud, they have unknowingly overlooked the necessity of their souls as they gorgeously dressed up in Costly apparel at the expense and decay of their souls, making them to be wretched poor and miserable.  Also there is the state of blindness which the devil is using against the church today which has made them very weak and defensele...

Heart Not Garment - 2

"Rend your heart, and not your garments." --Joel 2:13 Apart from vital godliness all religion is utterly vain; offered without a sincere heart, every form of worship is a solemn sham and an impudent mockery of the majesty of heaven. HEART-RENDING is divinely wrought and solemnly felt. It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.

Friendship with the Master

Friendship with the Master No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.    — John 15:15 NKJV In the Roman world, a “friend” was often a political ally who owed one a favor, or a more powerful patron on whom one could depend. But the traditional Greek concept of friendship remained influential even during the apostle Paul's day. Paul had urged the financially well–off Christians of Corinth to treat Christians in Jerusalem as friends by sharing all things in common. Friends treated one another as “equals” (2 Corinthians 8:13,14). Jesus said to His disciples: “I have called you friends.” While He was not implying that as His friends they were His equals, He was offering to share with them what belonged to Him. John's Gospel describes this assurance specifically as the promise of the Spirit sharing Jesus' words with t...
