Soul Restoration 1

Soul Restoration 1
Psalms 23:3

He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Healing starts from the soul which then reflect on the body. The last six day was the series "Praying for Physical Healing" and today begins another series on "Soul Restoration", but let us understand the place of soul and body.

God's desire and wish for humanity is that our souls be always in a fine state.
The soul is paramount above the body. It's the perfume of the body. Things can happen to the body without the soul suffering but anything that happen to the soul have a resultant effect on the body.

People normally protect the body instead of the soul. But God who is the all knowing, protects our soul first. 3 John 2. Even Job, Daniel, the three Hebrews boys, also those that endured in the Bible diverse kind of affliction; knew that the soul is what to be guided and not primarily the body. Jesus said, "... fear He that can kill both the soul and the body". So brethren, the soul is the paramount above the body.

The good news is that no matter what had happen or is happening to your body, God is restoring it now. Your body must reflect the wellness of your soul. Your souls are restored. He that restored Job's body as well as Naaman's through the restoration of their soul has promised to restore your soul.

Brethren, build up your faith. The healing and restoring power of Jehovah will locate you now irrespective of your location, religion and background; just BELIEVE and see the powers of God.

I pray that every soul that has been distorted, depreciated and afflicted should begin to receive divine restoration. Jehovah, our healer and restorer is at work in your life. Hallelujah!!!

Don’t Look Back!

Don’t Look Back! Luke 9:62 – And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. Have you answered the call to serve God as His son and daughter? Have you totally chosen Jehovah as your God? Have you decided to leave your old ways and cleave unto God? If yes! Beloved I congratulate you. But hope you took the cost of your choice?? [Please refer to yesterday’s sermon] God doesn’t want us to look back when we have answered the call, why? This is because of the following: Firstly, it brings shame to the body of Christ and makes people to despise Christ. Looking back is to be lukewarm and to depart from the first love! [Revelation 2:4, Revelation 3:16] Secondly, looking back makes the believer to suffer backwardness spiritually and physical. The faith of the believer suffers and takes a longer time to be rebuilt. [Hebrews 6:4]. Thirdly, looking back will make the person not to complete whatever he or she has started. This is w...

Heart Not Garment - 2

"Rend your heart, and not your garments." --Joel 2:13 Apart from vital godliness all religion is utterly vain; offered without a sincere heart, every form of worship is a solemn sham and an impudent mockery of the majesty of heaven. HEART-RENDING is divinely wrought and solemnly felt. It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul. Every covenant that do not bring light to your life, be destroyed now by fire! Whatever makes you to live by work and not by grace be destroyed! For God's name sake, let everyt...
