Forget Not His Name! Psalm 44:20-21 KJV [20] If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god; [21] Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart. 'Is it possible to forget God's name?' Some may like to ask but here it is very clear that one can forget the name of Jehovah. Forgetting the of Jehovah is not in the mental in terms of memory loss but it is in the spiritual in terms of reverentially fearing God. It is very paramount not to forget God's name that was why Joshua was advised by God himself saying, 'the book of the law (Bible) should not depart from his mouth'. When God's word has beginning to scarce in your mouth and mind, then you're on the tarmac of forgetting God's name. The psalmist knew that he has not forgotten God's name nor interacted with other gods. Do you know yourself? Have you allowed the affairs of this world made you to forget God's name? Remembe

Can God Punish? Nahum 1:2-3 [2] Yahweh is a jealous God and avenges. Yahweh avenges and is full of wrath. Yahweh takes vengeance on his adversaries, and he maintains wrath against his enemies. A big question; many people will rashly say NO! But is it true? From the scripture above, we were told that God punishes His enemies and has reserved wrath for them. Yes! God is merciful but don't forget that His mercy is not for neglect. The same Jesus that is a Living Lamb that was slain is also the fierce Loin. Don't feel that God will not punish His enemies even in Luke 19:27, Jesus made a parable on God and His enemies. Yes! Despite God is rich in mercy and compassion, He is also a God of vengeance and an avenger. God will not acquit the wicked but He acquits a repented sinner. Beloved be ready and make up your mind. The Deliverer! Zephaniah 1:18 [18] Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the Lord's wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land There is a day of judgement. A day when the Earth will feel the fierce anger and jealousy of Jehovah. A day when the wealth and fame of any human can't deliver him/her from God's wrath and fire of Jealousy. What then can deliver human from such coming day? For those that don't believe in Jehovah's wrath and fire of Jealousy you better change your believe. Who Is Your Counsellor? 2 Chronicles 22:3-4 KJV [3] ..for his mother was his counsellor to do wickedly. [4] Wherefore he did evil in the sight of the Lord ... for they were his counsellors after the death of his father to his destruction. The person counselling a man determine the making or marring of the man. As a human, whose counsel and path are you following? Don't allow people make you as they are through their counsels. Don't destroy yourself via following negativity. In the scripture above, you see a mother advising her son to his destruction. She is not a parent in the Lord, Eph 6:1. Despite being a mother, he shouldn't had obeyed her. Take good counsel and disregard every evil counsel no matter who the counsel is from. Don't be like king Rehoboam who forsook good counsel and took side with his mates that gave him bad counsel, 2 Chronicles 10:6-14. Don't Repeat Evil 2 Kings 15:9 [9] And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord , as his fathers had done: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin. Come My Carpenters! Zechariah 1:18-21 [18] Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns. ... These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem. Trusting Right Psalm 20:7-8 [7] Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. [8] They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright. Greetings of Peace to you. We just treated 'Whom To Seek' but how can one seek who he/she do not trust? Whom is trusted determines if one is trusting right or wrong. A trust in the flesh, in human and in the physical is trusting wrong. A right trust is a trust on Jehovah God. One who trust in God can never be disappointed and denied the reasons for his/her trust. There is no promise keeper and trust supporter than God of Heaven. There's lack and disappointment in not trusting and seeking Jehovah, Psalms 34:10. Therefore for a better life and constant supply of your needs, the only option is to trust in Jehovah. Whom To Seek 2 Amos 5:4, 6 [4] For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live: [6] Seek the Lord , and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it , and there be none to quench it in Beth-el. There is nothing that give life than seeking the Lord. The Lord gives life but only to those that seek Him. This life is not the general life given to all. To avert disappointment, frustration and delay that can result to different complications in life, we have to seek only the Lord God of Heaven. Beloved don't seek those things that are flesh and human. Seek ye Him that turned sorrow to celebration, death to life and barrenness to fruitfulness cause this will make you lively, fruitful and a celebrant. Whom To Seek Amos 5:5 [5] But seek not Beth-el, nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beer-sheba: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Beth-el shall come to nought. Also read Isaiah 31:1. There's response from every seeking, some are positive while some are negative. Seeking a follow seeker can't not bring a lasting and durable success/victory. People often make the mistake of seeking a power house, depending on an earthly connection and relying on physical strength only for them to get disappointment. Why shouldn't we seek Bethel, Gilgal, Beersheba and Egypt? Egypt was a power house days, Bethel is the house of God, Gilgal a place of celebration of newness and Beersheba a place of establishment. These places despite being positively significant can't give a lasting and unfailing help at all times. Beloved it is not a profitable thing to rely on the physical. Temperance Romans 14: 21 - It is good to not eat meat, drink wine, nor do anything by which your brother stumbles, is offended, or is made weak Another word for temperance is self-control and self-restraint. Temperance is very important in every Christian’s life if he/she must win. The race is not rosy and many trails are programmed against the faith a Christian professes but with self-control, we will all succeed. Self-control is a complementary fruit that aid both the weak in faith and the strong. It is very vital to manifest this fruit. The body of Christ will continually grow when this gift is manifested by all. Beloved, go to the school of the spirit and learn from Christ how to manifest this fruit. The fruit of the Spirit will keep the body of Christ more than the gifts of the Spirit. May God help all Christians to manifest the Fruit of the Spirit daily, Amen! Meekness Psalm 22:26 - The meek shall eat and be satisfied. They shall praise Yahweh who seeks after him. Let your hearts live forever. Psalm 149:4 - … He beautifies the meek with salvation. Meekness is the spirit of being patience toward all injuries with feeling the spirit of revenge. Being meek is to patiently endure the weak and erring. Just as our Lord was meek when on earth, we are also to follow after His steps by being meek. Moses despite being a man of hot temperament and highly wroth, God call him a very meek man, why? This was because despite all that the Israelites did to Moses, Moses never a day cried for revenge. Meekness is the direct opposite to anger. Meekness causes a balance to all temper and passion. Meekness is more than being humble. The blessings that await those that are meek are just so numerous. The meek are beautified with salvation and are satisfies by the Lord. The meek never go stranded because God constantly supply to him/her. Be Meek!

Faith Hebrews 4:2 - For indeed we have had glad tidings presented to us, even as they also; but the word of the report did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard Faith is a fruit and also among the gifts of the Holy Spirit but the difference is known in the manifestation. Believers are fruitful in Faith bearing except those that are Thomas in nature. For every believer of Jesus to benefit from the scripture and teachings of God, what he/she hears must be mixed with faith. Do you manifest faith as a fruit or is it doubt and unbelief that you manifest? Do you believer in the Bible as God’s word or do you take the Bible as a story book? There are profits in following God but this profit can only be gotten when we mix His words with faith like Peter that said NEVERTHELESS AT THY WORD, Luke 5:5. Peter then had no faith as a gift but as a fruit. I pray that we all grow in faith but this can only be when we heard more of God.

Goodness Psalm 34:12-14 [12] Who is the man that desires life? Loving days to see good? [13] Keep thy tongue from evil, And thy lips from speaking deceit. [14] Turn aside from evil and do good, Seek peace and pursue it. Goodness is the act of doing good even with the limited resources you have not out of force but out of a pure desire and hunger to make people smile. Being good make one to receive good and lots of other blessings. Adam Clarke’s commentary puts it this way, the perpetual desire and sincere study, not only to abstain from every appearance of evil, but to do good to the bodies and souls of men to the utmost of our ability.  But all this must spring from a good heart-a heart purified by the Spirit of God; and then, the tree being made good, the fruit must be good also. The goodness of any person can’t be used by the enemies to hurt the good doer. You see that the Bible said that, good doing gives long life with days. May this fruit be manifested in us

Gentleness Ephesians 4:32 - And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Everybody wants to be feared and respected hence they do hard things. True respect and fear is only obtained through gentleness. So what is gentleness? The ability to be a true resemblance of Jesus Christ in actions and appearance is gentleness. This like longsuffering is rare but when we submerge ourselves into the baptism of Jesus, it becomes a part of us. In action and in appearance gentleness is seen. With gentleness, we can easily and speedily bring people to Christ even without talking to them. This was what the early Church used that made them grow daily. Beloved, learn of Christ and be gentle (humble). Philippians 2:5-8. Gentleness is neither weakness nor supporting evil, John 2:13-16. I pray that the spirit of gentleness possess us! To be blessed is to be gentle (meek).

Longsuffering Matthew 24:13 - But he who endures to the end, the same will be saved. Hebrews 6:15 - And thus Abraham, having patiently endured, obtained the promise. Longsuffering is a rare ability that is missing in the world today even among some Christians. Longsuffering is the ability to bear with situations and people with the sense that Christ also bear with us. If not for the bearing (longsuffering) of Christ and God, we would have been speedily consumed. Longsuffering makes us not to murmur and repine when faced with the troubles and difficulties in life. This enables us to be submissive to the will of God which in turn makes us better in life. Abraham, Joseph, David, Jesus and lots more endured and became better in life. No Longsuffering, No Salvation!!! I pray that we will daily manifest this fruit of the Holy Spirit. That every spirit of understanding and submission to the will of God be released upon us all. Peace Psalm 29:11 [11] May the LORD give strength to his people! May the LORD bless his people with peace! I guess you said Amen to the scripture! Peace of the Holy Spirit is that state of calmness and orderliness in a saved soul instead of fear, dreadfulness and timidity. This peace can’t be quantified and qualified. It is above the understanding of human wisdom. This is the peace that is in a dying saved soul and he/she remains calm and praising God. In John 14:27, Jesus gave us His peace. He is the prince of peace. The world can give peace but in a real sense, the world’s peace is no peace but tribulation. Any believer that has this fruit of the Holy Spirit is not afraid of the seasons and times of this world. The peace of the Holy Spirit results to contentment and satisfaction. Why did Christ give us peace? His peace keeps our heart from envying the world’s style. His peace makes us to understand that there is nothing good outside Christ. Every unsaved and impenit

Joy Psalm 4:7 [7] Thou hast put more joy in my heart than they have when their grain and wine abound. Joy as the second fruit of the Holy Spirit is not joy as a result of the availability of material substances. This is divine joy that its source is the Holy Spirit. Joy (cara) is exultation that arises from the knowledge of God’s mercy to a soul for its iniquity and hope of eternal glory. Every begotten of God have this joy that is why when things go bad he/her like Job screams I KNOW THAT MY REDEEMER LIVETH – Job 15:25-26. Let not you and I as believer obtain our joy from the things of this world because all will vanish away, Colossians 3:2. Like Jesus our mentor, we should all endure the life here on earth because of the eternal joy ahead of us, Hebrews 12:2; 6:15; 11:27. Love 2 Timothy 1:7 [7] For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Hello beloved! Today we'll discuss the first fruit of the Holy Spirit - LOVE. Once we are born of and led by the spirit of God, we must exhibit God's love for God by loving humans. The love of the spirit is Agaph and it is the intense desire to please God and do good to mankind. This love was shown by our Lord Jesus to all. He came to die for us even when we do not merit it. The spirit's love is loving someone when that people is not qualified to be loved. This love doesn't select whom to love. God's spirit of love is the power we have against evil and evil doers because nothing harmful can be done against love. My Identification Galatians 5:22-23 [22] But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, [23] Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. An identification tells about something or somebody; the origin and personality. It easily define someone. Jesus told us that a tree is known by its fruits; Matt 7:16,20. As children of God controlled by the Holy Spirit, our identification should be the fruits of the Spirit. Anyone can manifest a gift whether a son or son but not everyone can manifest and produce fruits. The fruit tells of sonship and to whom you are connected to and controlled by. V18 - But if ye be led of the Spirit ..., which means that those that may have gifts but are not manifesting fruits are not led by the Spirit. We'll dwell on the fruits of the spirit for sometime so that we will build up our lives to prevent the devil from controlling us indirectly. Labour of Love Hebrews 6:10 [10] For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. Hello beloved, it is good to labour and do good work but it is not enough to give us reward. It is best if our labour and good works are done on the foundation of Love (Jesus is Love). If God will not forget good works and labour done in love of Jesus, it therefore means that those seeming good works and labour done outside the love of Jesus will be forgotten and unrewarded. When is a good work and labour done outside the love of Jesus? Hypocritical and fallacious good works and labour are those that will not be rewarded. Support No Evil Exodus 1:17 [17] But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive. Hello God's Images! An evil degree was given to the Hebrew women by the King but they choose to fear the Lord and counter the King's degree. What evil degree has been given to you? Are you delegated to carry out an evil command? Know that God is above whosoever that gave out the degree. Choose to fear God and do what is right and good. Am I Profitable? Philemon 1:11 [11] Which in time past was to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to thee and to me: Two categories of people are in the church and on earth at large - profitable and unprofitable. In which category are you? How will someone be unprofitable? Unrepentant and unsanctified people are unprofitable people in the church. Those that are impenitent continuously swim in sin and they take not the spiritual as spiritual but as senseless. Beloved, you know yourself but if you don't examine yourself and weigh your actions. Onesimus left his old ways then he became profitable. Until an impenitent becomes a penitent, he can never be profitable and no profit will come to him. Not Just Church Philemon 1:1-2 [1] Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellowlabourer, [2] And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellowsoldier, and to the church in thy house: It is a good and pleasant thing to attend Christian meetings and fellowship (Church) but it is best if these meetings draw us constantly closer to God and that they are not just attended in carnality. Do you go to church for without being a friend of God? Overturned To Joy Esther 8:16 [16] The Jews had light, and gladness, and joy, and honour. In Esther 4:3, the Jews were in fasting, mourning, sorrow and affliction.
