Esther 8:16

[16] The Jews had light, and gladness, and joy, and honour.

In Esther 4:3, the Jews were in fasting, mourning, sorrow and affliction. They looked unto God and never relied on their connection in the palace (Queen Esther). God the Master Overturner turned their story to Glory.

As you rely on God and look solemnly unto Him, your fasting becomes feasting; sorrow become joy; mourning becomes celebration and affliction becomes affluence.

Beloved, all you have to do is to trust solely in the Lord for He has never failed and He will not start with you. Mordecai and the Jews did as it was recorded in Psalm 37:3. Beloved, that issue or problem in your life is not bigger than God; just trust in Him and do good.

I pray for you, that before the end of 48 hours from now, God will turn that sorrow to Joy. I pray that every eye reading this sermon will celebrate before the end of Monday 8.5.17. Your gladness, joy, light and honour will bring convert people to God!

It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul.
