Faith
Hebrews 4:2 - For
indeed we have had glad tidings presented to us, even as they also; but the word
of the report did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who
heard
Faith is a fruit and
also among the gifts of the Holy Spirit but the difference is known in the manifestation.
Believers are fruitful in Faith bearing except those that are Thomas in nature.
For every believer of
Jesus to benefit from the scripture and teachings of God, what he/she hears
must be mixed with faith. Do you manifest faith as a fruit or is it doubt and unbelief
that you manifest? Do you believer in the Bible as God’s word or do you take
the Bible as a story book?
There are profits in
following God but this profit can only be gotten when we mix His words with
faith like Peter that said NEVERTHELESS AT THY WORD, Luke 5:5. Peter then had
no faith as a gift but as a fruit.
