Power Of Your Faith
Luke 5:1-7 – And Simon answered, "Master, we toiled all night and took nothing! But at your word I will let down the nets." And when they had done this, they enclosed a great shoal of fish; and as their nets were breaking, they beckoned to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. (Verse 5-7 – RSV)
Faith is acting on God’s word accordingly. The journey of the Christian life is all about faith. Just trust the word of God and live in accordance to the word.
From the above scripture we see that a miracle was possible just because Simon Peter acted on the instruction of Jesus Christ. Whenever the instructions of God are acted on, God is put into work. He begins to work for those that acted on His instructions.
Miracles are made possible through our faith. When God has decided to do a thing, it takes our faith to make such thing manifest, except on a rare occasion that God moves in unbelief so that His word will not return to Him void and for His name to be exalted.
Beloved, just like in the marriage feast in Cana, the water became wine because they acted on the instruction of Jesus. God always bless those that act on His word – Luke 11:28. Beloved, in this month of divine support and always in your life, make it your aim to hear, do and keep the word of God. It is only those that keep His words are blessed. Pray for the spirit to always keep the word of God. Shalom!
