Divine Peace

John 14:27 – I leave peace with you; I give my peace to you: not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it fear.

Peace differs from peace. Not all peace results to total peace. Divine peace or Godly peace is far more precious and better to earthly peace; like a product brand have its slogan as ‘The difference is clear’ so is it with peace.

God is the giver of peace and the good news is that He has given us this peace, but we have to work it work by believing right and doing His word. There is an assurance of divine peace to all the believers of God. This peace can’t be got by any earthly measure. No money, strategy or constitution can give this peace.

You might be seeing the trends in the world but the Lord has made us to understand that what befalls the world will not come near us; this is as a result of His peace on us. [Psalms 91:7, Isaiah 43:2]. Don’t be afraid beloved of God. Confess daily that God has given you peace and because Jesus is in your life, you will never capsize nor be destroyed. Shalom.

Prayer

Jehovah, the peace you have given me through your son Jesus Christ will daily manifest in my life. Thank you Father for the peace; my health, finance, marriage, relationship, ministry, career receives daily divine peace in Jesus name – Amen.

HEART-RENDING is divinely wrought and solemnly felt. It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul.
