Isaiah 66:12 – For thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the nations like an overflowing torrent; …

Calvary greetings child of God. There is no need to continue in your cry and state of sorrow. God has that said to Jerusalem that He will bring peace to her is also saying to you, that peace is coming to you. That area where you lack peace and joy will receive divine peace and joy.

Everyone that mourns with you will begin to rejoice with you. Those that mocked you will be silent with shame. God of peace will give you peace today. In this very day and night, nothing will take your peace away. The promises of divine comfort, flourishing and God’s hands on you will manifest speedily.

However, note that the peace and other promises that God want to extend to you will not be if you don’t reverentially fear Him. do you tremble at the word of God? Do you live your life by the principles in God’s word? Verse 5 in part reads, Hear the word of Jehovah, ye that tremble at his word: …. So the promise of extension of peace and overflowing glory is for those that fear God.

Prayer

Lord, I want to reverentially fear you. Help me to live my life by your word. May I have peace like river in my life and overflowing glory. Let those that mock at me be silent with shame and let those that mourn with me rejoice with me in Jesus name, Amen.

It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul.
