“Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. - - - Proverbs 3:9-10

Calvary greetings God’s peculiar people.

There is always a way that is right to a particular place. Considering divine increase, one of the stipulated ways as ordained by the Holy Spirit is seen in our text today.

Honouring Jehovah with our all is a sure way to increase. When we give God our all, He exceedingly abundantly supplies our needs to us. To honour the Lord with all our substance is to place all in the hands of God.

When one puts his or her substance before God, that is not honouring God and increase cannot come. God is the multiplier of all and remember the earth is the Lord’s – Psalm 24:1; hence when all substance are place after Him and are given to Him, then He will multiply and increase the substance.

Beloved, honour the Lord with your talents, treasure and time.

"Rend your heart, and not your garments." --Joel 2:13 Apart from vital godliness all religion is utterly vain; offered without a sincere heart, every form of worship is a solemn sham and an impudent mockery of the majesty of heaven. HEART-RENDING is divinely wrought and solemnly felt. It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul.
