Obtaining the King's Favour 3 (The Wise)

Obtaining the King's Favour 3 (The Wise) Proverbs 13:1 Proverbs 13:1 (BBE)   A wise son is a lover of teaching, but the ears of the haters of authority are shut to sharp words. Malachi 1:6 (GNT) The  Lord   Almighty says to the priests, “Children honor their parents, and servants honor their masters. I am your father—why don't you honor me? I am your master—why don't you respect me? You despise me, and yet you ask, ‘How have we despised you?’ No Wisdom, No Favour! Master Disrespected, No Favour!! Father Dishonoured, No Favour!!! From the above Scriptures and illustration, we see that honouring and respecting fathers and masters respectively yield to favour. A loyal and respectful son will always be at advantage over a proud, disobedient and despising son. Like we saw days back, God wants to favour us - in our finances, health, offices, status and otherwise (total flavoured life); but where is our honour (reverential fear) for Him. The Bible recorded that Jes

Obtaining the King's Favour 2 (The Fool)

Obtaining the King's Favour 2 (The Fool) Psalms 14:1 The fool says in his heart, "God does not exist." They are corrupt; they do vile deeds. There is no one who does good.  One's deeds qualifies him or her as a fool. One who does what God hates is a fool. Proverbs 1:7,22 " Fear of the LORD is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline." " How long will you who are simple love your simple ways? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge?" From the above scriptures, we see that a fool is someone who Despise wisdom, Discipline and Hate knowledge. Remember wisdom is gotten through the fear of the Lord. So a fool disregard God and by despising wisdom. As no precious ring us given to a pig, so no valuable will be given to a fool. Money will not be given to an extravagant person and so on. For God to favour us on different aspects of our life, we have to show wisdom in those areas. Remem

Obtaining the King's Favour 1

Obtaining the King's Favour 1 Proverbs 14:35 The king's favour is toward a wise servant: but his wrath is against him that causeth shame. The king's favour is more than a thousand servant's favour. We as servants to God and to our earthly masters seeks for their favour. This favour can only be gotten through the display of wisdom from the servant who is the seeker. This shows why some remain in service without a favour while others get multiple favour from the same master they serve. One might be force to think and say, 'The master is biase' If earthly masters can be baise, our Heavenly father's isn't. To obtain God's favour, we have to be wise. Now the question, who is wise in God's sight? Looking at the above question, we'll consider Psalms 14:1 " The fool hath said in his heart,  There is  no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works,  there is  none that doeth good." So a wise person in God's sight
