Judges 15:14

... the Philistines shouted as they met him: and the Spirit of the LORD rushed upon him, and the ropes that were on his arms became like flax that was burnt with fire, ...

There are diverse kind of Jehovah's Spirit and often a representation of Jehovah's spirit is by fire. Every carrier of God's spirit is a potential fire carrier.

See what happened, the spirit of God melted the ropes on him (Samson). Note that because he knew he had God's spirit, he was not afraid of the actions of human. Proverbs 16:7

Beloved, we all need God's spirit in our life so that we can be delivered without being a victim. Also, so that we can be bold and fearless. See, Psalms 118:6, 2 Timothy 1:7, Romans 8:15.

Brethren, we all need this Spirit and can do nothing without Him. I pray for an outpour of God's Spirit this today upon even eye that read or see this sermon. Just ask God (in faith) for His Holy Spirit (fiery spirit) and you'll be filled by Grace - Amen. Receive!

It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul.
