Living Safe

Living Safe
1 Peter 3:13

[13]And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?

Living safe is a life that can't be hurt by the scheme of the evil ones. Evil can't out run good just as darkness can't cover light. The Bible told us, 'The light shines in darkness and darkness comprehended it not'. You see, evil can't overpower good.

Having a safe life is to follow and do good. A follower and dose of good can't be destroyed. Joseph, Daniel and others in the Bible that did good were not overpowered by evil. Don't ever believe that your good will destroy you. Doing good is God's will and doing God's will results to God's protection.

Look at it again in Proverbs 16:7. Is your way pleasing to God? If yes, evil have no option than to fight for you and not against you. Verses 10-12 spelt out the result of doing good which are; Long life and Good life. Beloved, shun that evil practices, do good, seek peace and pursue it. May God empower us to do good always.

Shalom!

The True Picture Of The Church Today II

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: Sunday 7th, June 2020. TOPIC: The True Picture Of The Church Today II TEXT: Rev. 3:15  MESSAGE "I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot".Vs 15, so then because thou art lukewarm, neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth. Lukewarmness and indifference in religion is the worst tempter in the world. The husband of a lukewarm wife is always confused as he would not know when and how to please the wife. So are members of the church whose heart cannot be determined. They are between two opinions. We also have these in the church because they are high minded and proud, they have unknowingly overlooked the necessity of their souls as they gorgeously dressed up in Costly apparel at the expense and decay of their souls, making them to be wretched poor and miserable.  Also there is the state of blindness which the devil is using against the church today which has made them very weak and defensele...

Heart Not Garment - 2

"Rend your heart, and not your garments." --Joel 2:13 Apart from vital godliness all religion is utterly vain; offered without a sincere heart, every form of worship is a solemn sham and an impudent mockery of the majesty of heaven. HEART-RENDING is divinely wrought and solemnly felt. It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.

Friendship with the Master

Friendship with the Master No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.    — John 15:15 NKJV In the Roman world, a “friend” was often a political ally who owed one a favor, or a more powerful patron on whom one could depend. But the traditional Greek concept of friendship remained influential even during the apostle Paul's day. Paul had urged the financially well–off Christians of Corinth to treat Christians in Jerusalem as friends by sharing all things in common. Friends treated one another as “equals” (2 Corinthians 8:13,14). Jesus said to His disciples: “I have called you friends.” While He was not implying that as His friends they were His equals, He was offering to share with them what belonged to Him. John's Gospel describes this assurance specifically as the promise of the Spirit sharing Jesus' words with t...
