How Do You Live?
Titus 2:12-13 KJV

[12] Teaching us that ... we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
[13] Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

As Christians, we ought to live as Christ lived. The early Christians lived as Christ lived that's why they're called Christlike (Christian) in Antioch, Acts 11:26; 4:33-37.

We have been taught also by the scripture how we are to live here on earth. Are you living unrighteously, ungodly and immoderately? Because we are sojourners here on earth and as Christ Representatives/Ambassador, we ought to live with our focus on Heaven and expecting to be with Jesus Christ on His return. Are you looking for the glorious appearing of Jehovah?

Let your life style henceforth be not earthly but Heavenly. Continually set you affection on Christ's return and hoping to dine with the Lamb in His supper. Colossians 3:2. Deny ungodliness and worldly lust.

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul. Entering His Rest Hebrews 4:3 KJV For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. Total Increase and Perfect Rest 2016 was given by God. Looking at REST again, we found out there is no rest without believing in God the rest author and giver. Rest in this context is not death but a state of no physical struggles before benefits. Rest is a state of divine favour, no toiling all night and nothing to show. Believing in God is the prerequisite to entering His rest. His disciples entered into rest because 'At His word they cast their net', Luke 5:5; likewise the Zarephath woman in 1 Kings 17:15. Joshua and Caleb, and others that benefits from the gospel and entered into God's rest didn't enter by struggles but just by BELIEVING IN GOD THE GIVER OF REST, Joshua 21:44-45.
