Divine Reversal
Isaiah 19:17

[17] And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that make mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the Lord of hosts, which he hath determined against it.

Long ago enemies and oppressors has been oppressing you. They took advantage of your stubbornness to God, but not that you are determined to please God in your ways, expect a DIVINE REVERSAL.

Egypt is by far bigger and physically stronger than Judah but because of God's hands coming on Judah and against Egypt (due to their constant troubling of Judah/Israel) a divine reversal is provoked. Beloved, those oppressing will begin to receive oppression from God that will make them scared of you. The Lord will be against them unless they repent, verses 20 & 21. Every counsel they will take, Jehovah will turn it against them.

Beloved, these promises of God for Judah and against Egypt can only be for you and against your enemies when you're God's friend.

It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul.
