Devour & Subdue
Zechariah 9:15

[15] The Lord of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, and as the corners of the altar.

Remember, this is  the 'Month of Doubling' and we see in verse 12 that for us to receive this doubling from the Lord we have to turn to God.

Beloved, this is another promise from God when you turn to Him (our Stronghold). He will defend you and in all your life endeavour, He will cause you to Devour and Subdue those that will rise up against you. Also, it is the noise of celebration (A joyous noise) that will be heard from your dwellings.

Remember beloved that all these will be made possible by God and God alone. Furthermore, it is only when the Lord God is with you by virtue of your return to Him.

Beloved, I pray for you that you'll be filled with God's goodness. Anything or anyone trying to stop you, you'll devour & subdued, Amen!!

It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul.
