Lost Value
Luke 14:34-35
Luke 14:34-35
[34] Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned?
[35] It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

As a Christian whose father is God, we're the salt if this earth. Our presence as salts makes the earth to have value and taste. This is why after God created all the things on earth found that the earth isn't complete yet. Beloved your presence as God's child complements the earth.
But the question is, 'Have you lost your taste?' A lost taste is a lost authority. Someone may want to ask, 'How can I lose my taste?' Adam and Eve lost their taste the sin. Continuing in sin brings one to a state of isolation from God thereby losing their taste. Your taste is the activation of your authority in God. This explains why some call on God and they receive no answer, Isaiah 59:1-3.
May God give us the grace not to lose our taste. May flesh died in us, Amen!
