Reviving Shadow
Hosea 14:7

[7] They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon.

There is a shadow that brings no darkness and destruction but light and salvation. This shadow is for safety as seen in Psalm 91 and for revival as seen in the scripture here. This shadow is that of Jehovah.

Spiritually, corn stands for multiplication and vine for prosperity. To revive like a corn is to speedily and rapidly multiple while to grow like a vine is to be prosperous and fruitful.

I don't know where you have experienced setback and what caused the setback but I have know that God is going to revive you again. That area that has become scanty or has turned to barred, as you remain under Yahweh's shadow, blossoming is coming to that which is scanty and barred. I degree by the Holy Ghost that you will testify but you must remain under God's shadow and totally trust Him.

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul.
