Jesus Made Us Free
Luke 1:68 – Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, for he has come to his people and made them free,

The coming of Jesus brought freedom to all that believes in Him. The devil through our ignorance has placed us under chains and bondage. This is the work of the devil; to steal; kill and destroy – John 10:10.

The devil knew this right from the first day that Jesus was born and that is why the devil used Herod to try to kill Jesus but the devil and Herod failed. So will the devil and the enemies of your life fail; they will not succeed; God has freed you and you are free indeed; the devil has no power over you, Amen.

Beloved, have this sense in you that Jesus came to free you and you are free but you must believe in Jesus for this freedom to daily manifest.

Anywhere in time past that the devil through ignorance at a point or the other placed a burden on you, I decree that as a reason of today’s devotion, that burden expire by fire. May the freedom that the birth of Jesus brought to all that believe in Him free you now. Celebrate your freedom!

HEART-RENDING is divinely wrought and solemnly felt. It is a secret grief which is personally experienced, not in mere form, but as a deep, soul-moving work of the Holy Spirit upon the inmost heart of each believer. It is not a matter to be merely talked of and believed in, but keenly and sensitively felt in every living child of the living God. It is powerfully humiliating, and completely sin-purging; but then it is sweetly preparative for those gracious consolations which proud un-humbled spirits are unable to receive; and it is distinctly discriminating, for it belongs to the elect of God, and to them alone.

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul.
