The Threesome Spirit

The Threesome Spirit
2 Timothy 1:7 – For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of self-control

There is a spirit in every believer. This spirit is part of the seven spirits of God that was in Jesus, Isaiah 11:1-3, Revelation 3:1, Colossians 1:19. These spirits are seen in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, 1 Corinthians 12:8-10.

As a believer, you are a carrier of God’s spirit in you and at least you are a carrier of the threesome spirit made known unto us in today’s scripture. You have the spirit of power, might and self-control (wise discretion), let these spirit manifest and don’t subject them as a result of fear.

You should note that God has never given you the spirit of fear (a cowardice spirit that subjects one to bondage). So you should never be held down by fear. Always confess that God has given you this threesome spirit and that you are above the evil of this world but continue in Christ Jesus to remain above.

Beloved, I pray that God should empower us to show love unconditionally, demonstrate power above the ills of this world and to control ourselves always in Jesus name, Amen. Shalom!

Don’t Look Back!

Don’t Look Back! Luke 9:62 – And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. Have you answered the call to serve God as His son and daughter? Have you totally chosen Jehovah as your God? Have you decided to leave your old ways and cleave unto God? If yes! Beloved I congratulate you. But hope you took the cost of your choice?? [Please refer to yesterday’s sermon] God doesn’t want us to look back when we have answered the call, why? This is because of the following: Firstly, it brings shame to the body of Christ and makes people to despise Christ. Looking back is to be lukewarm and to depart from the first love! [Revelation 2:4, Revelation 3:16] Secondly, looking back makes the believer to suffer backwardness spiritually and physical. The faith of the believer suffers and takes a longer time to be rebuilt. [Hebrews 6:4]. Thirdly, looking back will make the person not to complete whatever he or she has started. This is w...

Faulty Covenant

Faulty Covenant Hebrews 8:7 [7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Covenant as a strong bound that is not easily broken can be faulty. The covenant made betwixt God and the Israelites was a faulty covenant in this time of Grace but perfect in it's time. The covenant wasn't to lead sinner's unto Christ's but it was to lead them unto their destructive end quickly. The old covenant was a period of darkness and pains (because it was more by works and not by grace) but thanks to God who invalidated the old covenant and gave us the covenant of Grace where Jesus is the mediator no longer Moses. God spoken of the new covenant long ago in Jeremiah 31:31; it was manifested in Christ. This new covenant brings light to the soul. Every covenant that do not bring light to your life, be destroyed now by fire! Whatever makes you to live by work and not by grace be destroyed! For God's name sake, let everyt...

A Song of Praise and Thanksgiving

Know that the LORD, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves, We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; — Psalm 100:3-5 NKJV A Song of Praise and Thanksgiving Enjoy the verse insights on this passage from  The MacArthur Study Bible. Verses 100:1–5 This well–known psalm, emphasizing the universal nature of God's kingship, is a benediction to the series of psalms which are occupied with the Lord's kingdom rule (Psalms 93, 95–100). Most of it is a call to praise and thanksgiving, while verses 3 and 5 fix the reasons for that worship. Verse 100:3 Know.  In the sense of experiencing and being completely assured of the truth. The LORD, He  is  God.  A confession that Israel's covenant God, Jehovah, is the only true God. Made us.  Though God's actual creation of every human bei...
