Would You Be Found Wanting? 1
2 Corinthians 12:20-21 – For I am afraid that by any means, when I come, I might find you not the way I want to, and that I might be found by you as you don't desire; that by any means there would be strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, factions, slander, whisperings, proud thoughts, riots; that again when I come my God would humble me before you, and I would mourn for many of those who have sinned before now, and not repented of the uncleanness and sexual immorality and lustfulness which they committed.
Hello beloved of God, will you be found wanting when the Lord should visit you or will you be found in the faith? The Lord’s visit can be anytime [this is not death]; this can be in the form of your former pastor or one time mentor interacting with you to know if you are still in the faith.
Someone that left you hot in Christ and stay for years, months or days only to return back to you, will he or she see you in the way of the Lord or in the way of the world?
We should rely on the Holy Spirit and make it our aim not to be found wanting. We should be on our guard against anything that will make us slanderers, factionist, lustful and unclean.
I pray that when the Lord will visit us in any form and at any time, we should not be found wanting. We should always be found in the faith and way of the Lord. Shalom!
