He Did It For Us 2
Philippians 2:7 – but emptied himself of his glory by taking the form of a slave, when he was born in the likeness of men.
Heirs of God, I greet you in Jesus name. Today we are looking at the part two of the topic [the part one can be found by clicking HERE].
Can you see what Christ did from the above scripture? Have you ever heard or seen that a human empties himself or herself for the betterment and good of another? Jesus emptied Himself of His glory for our sakes. Also, He took the form of a salve for our sake too. He was born in the likeness of man, received all the strokes, insult and humiliation for our sake, Isaiah 53:4-12.
Beloved, what Christ did for us is just too much that one’s mouth can’t explain or quantify it. We have only but to appreciate Christ Jesus and God for what was done for us. In appreciation of what Christ’s did for us we have to do something for Him. This is done by simply keying to the ministry of reconciliation [to reconcile the unsaved to God]; 2 Corinthians 5:18; which is also the last command of Jesus to His disciplines [you and I are Christ’s disciples today in this world]; Mark 16:15-16.
I pray that the grace not to take what Christ’s did for us for granted be given unto us. I pray that the grace to be God’s representatives (ambassadors) and reconcilers be given unto us, in Jesus name – Amen!
