I Am Free!

I Am Free! 1 Peter 3:19 – By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; There are so many people in prison. That have to access to the sweetness of this life, they experience hard luck, difficulty and many frustrating things happen in their life. The death of Jesus made Him to visit the dead in prison and His visit gave them victory! In Psalm 24:7, as Jesus approached the gates and everlasting doors, they were lifted up and those held in prison behind the gates and the everlasting doors were liberated. The King of Glory made the everlasting doors to be broken and the gates to be destroyed. Every ‘gate’ and ‘everlasting door’ in your lift must be destroyed, in Jesus Name Amen. In Isaiah 42:7, we see that Jesus came to make prisons free. In accordance with Isaiah 49:9, I say to you today that you are free and your light will begin to shine like never before. Jesus came that you will have life and life in abundance [John 10:10] and in Isaiah 61:1, Jesus was speaking and f...

The Factor of Reconciliation

The Factor of Reconciliation Ephesians 4:31 – Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice Today is Good Friday; the commemoration of the death of Jesus on the Cross, the day Jesus died and reconciled human back to His Father, God. How was this reconciliation made possible? On the cross, Jesus asked His father to give all the actions that was meted on and against Him – Luke 23:34. Without Christ’s forgiving all on the cross, the human race won’t have been reconciled back to God. This was the point at which the reconciliation took place. This is what forgiveness can do. Our scripture above tells us to forgive all kind of stuff; whether we are right or wrong. Without forgiveness, there is evil speaking, malice, anger, clamour and bitterness. Without forgiveness, there can never be kindness and tender-heartedness. The Christian life is all about forgiveness. Forgive those that have hurt you that you will be free and you wi...

The Lord’s Complaint 4

The Lord’s Complaint 4 Malachi 2:17 – Ye have wearied Jehovah with your words, and ye say, Wherein have we wearied [him]? In that ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of Jehovah, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment? Don’t Complain and Watch Your Words! God’s way is not human’s way. God is far above human and He should be respected so much. We should never take the mercies of God for granted and do whatsoever like complaining and speaking nasty words to Him. We should not murmur or complain to God – Psalm 106:24-25, Isaiah 59:3, 2 Corinthians 12:20. God asked Job questions because of his murmuring – Job 38. We are advised to never murmur or complain to God – Philippians 2:14; but to give thanks in all things – 1 Thessalonians 5:18. God listens to no complain and hates sickening words been said to Him. Murmuring destroys – 1 Corinthians 10:10. Complaining never bring any answer from God, it only cause more problems –Psalm 77:3. Murmurers and comp...

The Lord’s Complaint 3

The Lord’s Complaint 3 Malachi 2:13-16 – For I am against the putting away of a wife, says the Lord, the God of Israel, and against him who is clothed with violent acts, says the Lord of armies: so give thought to your spirit and do not be false in your acts. Don’t Dishonour Marriage! Marriage is the only institution established by God at the creation. God Himself is the founded, inventor and owner of marriage – Genesis 2:20-25. God so much honour marriage and we can see it in the marriage between Christ and the Church that in no way Christ has put away the church despise the church doings [the church here is you and I] – Ephesians 5:25-33. There are ways in which marriage can be dishonoured and these ways are through divorce and through fornication/adultery. Let’s look at these ways! God joins in marriage – Matthew 19:6,8. With God, there is no room for divorce in marriage except for infidelity [but infidelity can be forgiven as it all depends on love of the cheated and repentance of ...

The Lord’s Complaint 2

The Lord’s Complaint 2 Malachi 1:6-7 – A son honoureth [his] father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? … Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of Jehovah is contemptible. Malachi 2:1-3 Don’t Dishonour God! Honouring someone is built on the love you have for such a one. This is verse built on verse 2. If the people really loved the Lord, the will reciprocate His love by honouring Him. Honouring God is shown in many ways, such as the following paragraphs: The honour we have for our parents and for the elderly in Christ. Do you respect and honour your parents? Exodus 20:12, Ephesians 6:1-3, Leviticus 19:32, Deuteronomy 19:32. We honour God through our services to Him. If we serve God faithfully and honour Him, in return He will honour us – 1 Samuel 2:30. More importantly, we honour God through sacrifices; the sacrifice of ourselves then the sacrifice of substance will follow [read ...

The Lord’s Complaint 1

The Lord’s Complaint 1 Malachi 1:2 – "I have loved you," says Yahweh. Yet you say, "How have you loved us?" "Wasn't Esau Jacob's brother?" says Yahweh, "Yet I loved Jacob; Don’t Doubt and/or Ignore God’s love! God so much love us. We are His special children and nothing can dispute the fact. Everyone on earth is loved by God, even the sinners – Romans 5:8, 2 Peter 3:9, Ezekiel 18:23. What God hates is sin but he loves all. There is love and there is special love. The truth remains that despise all on earth is loved by God, there are some that the level of their love from God is very low and when compared to others, it looks as if they are hated by God. This was exactly the case with Jacob and Esau. When you do something always because of the love you have for it, those things you do less or rarely will be perceived that you hate them. God was angry with His people because they doubted His love. They were using Esau to measure the love God prof...

Rejoice Extremely!

Rejoice Extremely! Matthew 5:12 – Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. There is a reward for right doing and also there is a reward for right suffering. The hope of the reward should keep the Christian journey alive in us and should also cause a great joy that is beyond the comprehension of human in us – 2 Corinthian 4:17. Beloved, don’t give in to persecution. Jesus was persecuted and He received a reward as well others. Yours and mine won’t be a different issue. It is established by our choice of Jesus and faith – 2 Timothy 3:12, 1 Thessalonian 3:3, Galatians 6:12, Lamentation 5:5, Acts 8:1; 11:19; 13:50. Romans 8:35-39 encourage us the more and our response to persecution should be, “Persecution! You can separate me from Christ”. I pray that nothing will make us deny the faith. May God empower us all in Jesus name, Amen.

The Falsely Accused

The Falsely Accused Matthew 5:11 – Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Persecution meted on the followers of Christ is of two types: those that the hand can do and those that the tongue can do. The hand persecution is felt physically on the bodies of the Christian while the tongue persecution is felt emotionally in the heart and soul of the Christian. Verse 10 is about the hand persecution while this verse is about the tongue persecution. Hand persecution entails all outward acts of violence while the tongue entails calumny, slander and others. Many Christians have been burn alive, some were killed and others. The tongue persecution might not kill the body but will kill the spirit of such a Christian. His character will be dragged on the mud. This was the kind of persecution that Joseph faced from the Potiphar’s wife – Genesis 39:7-20. Beloved, just as Christ and the early Christians were revil...

Persecuted for Righteousness

Persecuted for Righteousness Matthew 5:10 – Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Persecution for righteousness (for the sake of righteousness) is a part of the Christian living and fate. Jesus told us that we will be hated and persecuted because of Him – John 15:18, 1 John 3:13, Luke 6:22, Luke 12:51. Why will you and I be hated by the world? We have not bought their ways and principles. More so, our fellowship of Christ pulled us from them. This is why Christ said He has come to bring division (dividing the good from the bad and turning people over to good thereby making them to be divided from their bad company but beyond the physical, Christ brought peace on earth). Right from the bible days even in the Old Testament, those that choose to follow God are always persecuted but the good news is that they are always victorious at the end. Beloved, this persecution is everywhere, in Nigeria the bad eggs in Islam are perse...

The Peacemakers

The Peacemakers Matthew 5:9 – Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Peace is the nature of Jesus Christ; He is the Prince of peace – Isaiah 9:6, and as God’s children and followers of Jesus Christ, we have to be peacemakers. Peacemakers will be called the children of God because their father is a lover of peace and the father of peace. Whose child are you? A peace-maker is a man who, being endowed with a generous public spirit, labours for the public good, and feels his own interest promoted in promoting that of others: therefore, instead of fanning the fire of strife, he uses his influence and wisdom to reconcile the contending parties, adjust their differences, and restore them to a state of unity. Are you a promoter of divisions in the Church, the state, or among families? God is a lover of concord and the father of peace (Romans 15:33, 2 Thessalonian 3:16). That why we were advised that we should pursue peace with all – Hebrews 12:14, Psalm 34:1...

Pure in Heart

Pure in Heart Matthew 5:8 – Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. The heart is like a mirror. If the heart is pure, God will been seen through the heart. Know that as a bright and shining resemblance or image may be seen plainly in a clear and pure looking glass, even so does the face (as it were) of the everlasting God, shine forth, and clearly appear in a pure heart. This is why many people just like the Pharisees, that appear pure outwardly but impure inwardly can’t and don’t see God. Christ through this verse was telling the Jews and other the importance of inward cleanness and cleanliness and not just outwardly. The Jewish have a principal part in their religion that consisted in outward washings and cleansings and that on this ground they expect to see God, to enjoy eternal glory. Christ here shows that a purification of the heart, from all vile affections and desires, is essentially requisite in order to enter into the kingdom of God. He whose soul is not delive...

The Merciful

The Merciful Matthew 5:7 – Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. To be merciful is to be compassionate and it is to be so affected by the sufferings of others, as to be disposed to alleviate them. To be merciful is broken into pardon of wrongs and giving of alms. Knowing that we all need mercy of God in our daily living, we should be ever ready to be merciful. Note that, he who shows mercy to men, God will show mercy to him: but to him who shows no mercy to man, God will show no mercy. The benefit of showing mercy is obtaining mercy from both fellow men and from God. Jesus’ teachings in Matthew 10:42 and Matthew 25:34-40 emphases on showing mercy. Being merciful is an indication that we are God’s because there is no genuine mercy shown except if there first be love for God and love human. Note that showing mercy should be done to glorify God; that is, in obedience to His commandments, and with a desire that He should be honoured; and feeling that we are benefiting one ...

Desirers of Righteousness

Desirers of Righteousness Matthew 5:6 – Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Righteousness can’t be got by any human, but there must be a hunger and thirst for righteousness which in return, the hunger and the thirst will be filled by the Lord (the Lord then makes the person righteous). In Isaiah 55, God assures us that will be filled without it costing us. All we have to do is just to come to the Lord, showing our hunger and thirst. The righteousness of the Lord makes any one to be satiable because since there was desire of being righteous, God will supply all that is needed so that there be no room to compromise the hunger and thirst. Those that are perishing for want of righteousness; that feels that they are lost sinners, and strongly desire to be holy, shall be filled. Never was there a desire to be holy, which God was not willing to gratify. And the gospel of Christ has made provision to satisfy all who truly desire to be ho...

The Meek

The Meek Matthew 5:5 – Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth A meek is a person that is quite spirited and gentle spirited. This is in sharp contrast to the proud and supercilious. The meek is always ever ready to associate with the meanest of those who fear God, feeling himself superior to none; and well knowing that he has nothing of spiritual or temporal good but what he has received from the mere bounty of God, having never deserved any favour from his hand. Apart from Jesus, Moses is a good example of the meek, Numbers 12:3. The reward for being meek is inheriting the earth. They will never regret why they are meek, as none will infringe on them without God reacting. You can see that in the life of Moses when Mariam was made leprous and Dathan and his fellows were destroyed, all because they rebel against Moses (trying to make him feel worthless) – Numbers 12 and Numbers 16. The first three teachings are connected. The connection is when you are poor in the spirit...

Mourners in Spirit

Mourners in Spirit Matthew 5:4 – Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Mourning in the spirit is related to being poor in the spirit. The mourners in the spirit are those who felt their poverty in the spirit and lament their iniquity that separated them from God. David mourned in the spirit after he went into Uriah’s wife. Sin separates God’s children from the fountain of blessedness, but when he or her mourns, God restores the mourner in the spirit to the fountain of blessedness. The restoration to spiritually to the fountain of blessedness is the comfort given by the Lord to the mourners in the spirit. Jesus loudly called all that are weary, heavy laden and separated from God to come back to God through Him that they will be comforted and have rest. Beloved, what are you still waiting for, come unto Jesus, be poor in the spirit and mourn in the spirit so that you will be given rest, comfort and restoration back to the fountain of blessedness. Shalom!

Poor in Spirit

Poor in Spirit Matthew 5:3 – Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. For the next days, we will be looking at the Lord’s teaching fondly called the beatitudes. The above verse did not say the poor in flesh. Hence, the Lord was not teaching that the poor in flesh are blessed neither was He teaching that we as His followers should not be rich in the flesh. Jesus was speaking about the spiritual state of any human! To be poor in the spirit is to be tamed in the spirit and brought under total control by God’s word. Poverty and wretchedness in the spirit to have referential fear of God; it is to tremble at the Lord’s command and instruction. This was shown in King David when Prophet Nathan met him 2 Samuel 12. Beloved, God’s kingdom belongs to those that are poor in spirit, that in contrite in heart and are broken in spirit. I pray that God will make us poor in the spirit as we daily walk with him. Shalom!

Determined By God!

Determined By God! Proverbs 16:33 – The lot is cast into the lap; but its whole disposing is from the LORD Do you know that things are determined by God and not by the degree of labour or the level of connection? This is why the Bible told us that the race is not to the swift and neither the battle to the strong (Ecclesiastes 9:11, 2 Chronicles 28:8). Just image a weaker person winning a fight. The certificates are ready, the contract’s paper are well prepare and so on but we getting the job, contract and others is not in our actions but in God’s decision. Note that we aren’t saying taking a good action is prohibited but what we are saying is relying in, trusting on and hoping in our good actions is not the determinant in life. Promotion comes from the Lord and victory is of the Lord (Psalm 75:6 and Proverbs 21:31). Hence, there is nothing that ought to be attributed to fortune: for all things are determined in the counsel of God which will come to pass. That is, man casts the lot, but...

Watch Your Temper and Spirit

Watch Your Temper and Spirit Proverbs 16:32 –He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. The human’s temperament is a determinant to many things like peace, relationship stability and others likewise, the human’s spirit. This is the reason for self-control. Self-control is the ability to control the temper and restrain the human spirit from some certain actions. Our master Jesus showed us a great example of self-control. That is why we are admonish to have the mind that was in Christ Jesus. But can the temper and human spirit be controlled by the physical? It takes the Holy Spirit to control these duos but it starts from our decision of controlling it. Nabal would have been destroyed because he lost control of his self (1 Samuel 25). Samson was unable to fulfil his mission as planned by God, because he didn’t control his temper and spirit despite he was a mighty man (Judges 14 - 16). Beloved, pray earnestly that God shou...

Establish Your Throne

Establish Your Throne Proverbs 16:12 – It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness. Do you know that you are king? Do you know that you are royalty? 1 Peter 2:9 says who we are; hence you can see that you are a king. Also, our Father is the King of Kings and we are an heir to him, which also make us royalties. Every king has a throne. The continuous existence of the throne makes the king a king, because there can’t be kingship without a throne. Our throne and kingship is a product of our righteousness by faith through Christ Jesus. For this throne to be in continuous existence, we have to abhor evil and wickedness. The bible also make us to understand that righteousness exalts a nation (Proverbs 14:34). Your throne might be your education, finance, business and others but the throne can’t be blessed or exalted in wickedness and unrighteousness. Beloved, forget about those that are in wickedness and it seems like they are flourishin...

Just Please God

Just Please God Proverbs 16:7 – When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. The above scripture is a very popular scripture. Many Christians just recite it without maybe really knowing the magnitude of the scripture. Hence, from the scripture, we are to concentrate on making our ways to please God and forget about any other thing. Today, many Christian have put the chart before the horse. Their ways can be said to please the Lord yet they keep calling on God to intercede on their behalf against the enemies of their life. This shouldn’t be as the Lord will not harken unto them. When Achan sinned against the Lord, Israel’s way was not pleasing unto Jehovah and we know the rest of the story; little Ai won mighty Israel! Read Joshua 7. Beloved, forget about the enemies of your life and concentrate on pleasing Jehovah. When you please Jehovah, you need no hard and lengthy prayer against the enemies of your life because the Lord God will be figh...

What Are You Speaking?

What Are You Speaking? Proverbs 16:1 – The plans of the mind belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the LORD. The tongue is very instrumental even though it is a small part of the body. The tongue can make or mar a life. This is why the Bible advised us to make good use of our tongue by bridling and taming it by the Holy Ghost. The above scripture make us to understand that what we say we our tongue has a long way to go. It is not enough to wish a thing, but that which you have wished should be spoken out loud and clear in faith. This is why prophesying is very important and not taken as a play. Proverbs 13:2 and Proverbs 18:21 make us to understand that it is the fruits of our tongue that we eat. So if God has given us a good fruit but we keep speaking evil fruit through our tongue, then we have to blame ourselves. Beloved, let’s continue to speak good so that God will answer the words we speak. Good words are answered by God but evil words are stamped and promoted by th...

He Will Perform All!

He Will Perform All! Job 23:14 – For he will perform [what] is appointed for me; and many such things are with him. Just as time is not same everywhere on the earth, so also human time for performances of certain things differ. Your time will not be my time. The time in Nigeria is not the time in China. Some places on earth have same hour but different minutes while some are in seconds. Hence hours, minutes and seconds are not uniformly distributed on the earth. Every human on earth have his or her own time. God will perform that which He has said concerning you. Don’t look at others that their time has come to begin judging your God and condemning yourself. There is a set time for God and as you hold on to God, your set time will not pass you. In Ecclesiastes 3:11, we are told by the great philosopher that God makes everything beautiful in time. Just be patient dear brother and sister, once your time has come nothing can stop God from performing that which He has said concerning you a...

Not By Self!

Not By Self! Job 9:27 – If I say, I will forget my complaint, I will leave off my heaviness, and comfort myself There many people that are trying to forget their past and to reach for the new hopes they have but this seems difficult for them. Why? Reading the above scripture from The Message Bible, you get a better understanding. Job tried to forget his complains and to look for comfort but he was doing this with his strength. Job tried with his strength by He couldn’t. The more he tried, the more he became afraid of his challenges [read verse 28]. Beloved, what are the challenges that you are going through in your life, business, ministry and other areas, don’t rely on yourself to get comfort or to forget the experiences. Rely on God! In Job 19:25, Job made a confession after I guess he had come to his knowledge that only God can help him in the situation he was in. We should note that, there is no help for man but in the grace of God, abounding through Jesus Christ our Lord. By stren...

Be Focus – Emotionally

Be Focus – Emotionally Philippians 3:13 – Brethren, I do not count to have got possession myself; but one thing I do, forgetting the things behind, and stretching out to the things before Once a human is emotionally unstable, he can’t be doing well in any affair. The mind have a great contribution to our progress or otherwise. Things might have happened to us in the past, but for us to progress we have to let go the negative past experiences. Our yesterday [past] is the foundation of our today. So building on the past which is negative will have a negative effect on our life. If the foundation is faulty, we have to destroy it so that the building will have a good shape. Your past experience is your foundation. Apostle Paul here tells us a secret to excelling in this life, forget those things behind you and look for the things ahead of you. Holding back to the things behind you and trying to reach for the things ahead of you is like going backward and forward the same time, which will m...

Be Focus – Physically

Be Focus – Physically Genesis 15:18 – And Isaac digged again the wells of water, which they had digged in the days of Abraham his father; for the Philistines had stopped them after the death of Abraham: and he called their names after the names by which his father had called them. Just as it is spiritually, that there are issues that don’t want us to make eternity with God, also there are issues [like people] that don’t want us to make it in life. They are out there to fight us with all resources in there domain. Most times, there are fighting us not because we have fought them but because of our vision and God’s blessings on us. How can we escape such issues confronting us spiritually? Focus! Today’s scripture tell us of a man named Isaac whose vision was fought by the Philistines. The wells in His custody were all filled with earth; those His father dug as well as those he dug. In today’s world, it is like, closing the business and establishments of someone. I guess if you were Isaac...

Be Focus – Spiritually

Be Focus – Spiritually Hebrews 12:2 – Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. On the way to eternity, there are diverse things that will distract us. There are things that will try to dwindle our faith in God. There are issues that will make us to loss our salvation. How can we overcome all these things that are every present on our path to eternity? Focus! We can only scale through the wilderness of this life when and only when we look upon to Jesus, just like the children of Israel looked at the golden serpent that was lifted up by Moses in the wilderness – Numbers 21:9. [Note that this action by Moses was an instruction from God which symbolises the lifting up of Jesus – John 3:14]. In the wilderness, those that looked to the serpent were saved, so also in this time, if we look unto Jesus, those issues that want to kill us spiritual...

Blossom My Garden, Lord!

Blossom My Garden, Lord! Song of Solomon 4:16 – Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south; blow upon my garden, that the spices thereof may flow out. Let my beloved come into his garden, and eat his pleasant fruits. Wind in the Bible most times signifies the power of God [the Holy Spirit]. In the valley of dry bones [Ezekiel 37:9], we saw the demonstration of the power of God via the four wind [north, south, east and west winds]. Also in Genesis 8:1, we saw how the water on the earth was made dry by the wind. God uses the wind [any of the four winds] to effect anything He so desire. In the above scripture, we can see a call of the power of God into a garden [here, the beloved (Christ) called for blossoming of the garden (the bride, the Church) through the power of the Holy Spirit]. In an application of the above scripture in our life, the garden can be your work, your family or any other thing. But what we are driving at is for that which you have termed your garden to blossom because ...

God’s Habitation!

God’s Habitation! Isaiah 57:15 – For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. The God we serve is the omnipresent God. He fills the universe and at the same times dwell in His throne. God also dwell in the hearth of His creature that are humble and have dedicated themselves to Him. Solomon built a mighty temple to but God don’t dwell in temples primarily, leaving the heart of His children. This is why we are told that our body is the temple of God – 1 Corinthians 6:19. In the old days, the physical temple of God was given more preference than the spiritual temple which is the heart of his children – Haggai 1:4, 1 Chronicles 17:6. But today, the primary habitation of God among His children is not in the temples made of bricks, cedars and others, but in the heart of those that ha...

Extended Joy

Extended Joy Nehemiah 12:43 – And they offered great sacrifices that day and rejoiced, for God had made them rejoice with great joy; the women and children also rejoiced. And the joy of Jerusalem was heard afar off. It is certain that you will rejoice this month through the sweet victory that God is giving to you. But for your joy to be greater, you need to appreciate God for all He has been doing. You need to offer sacrifices to God. These days, sacrificing to God is not like the old days. The basic sacrifice the Lord demands from us is the sacrifice of our ‘self’ to Him, and then others can follow. Psalm 4:5, Psalm 51:17, Romans 12:1. Experiencing extended rejoicing is a product of appreciation. The more you appreciate God, the more you rejoice. In the yesterdays, the Lord gave you victories and salvation from different issues of life, have you appreciated Him? Did you offer sacrifices of praise to Him? Did you offer sacrifices of substance to Him? Did you offer sacrifice of your ‘se...

Use God’s Promise For You

Use God’s Promise For You Isaiah 41:17 – The afflicted and the needy seek water, and there is none; their tongue faileth for thirst: I, Jehovah, will answer them, [I], the God of Israel, will not forsake them. If the president of your country gives you an assurance that he will never leave you alone and that anytime you are in need just call his private cell phone number, won’t it be amazing to you? Will you lack any thing? Yes and No! It is more amazing to know that our heavenly father has given us a superlative assurance and promise of never leaving us alone. It is in our place to make us of the promise given to us by our heavenly father. If we don’t, we will continue to be in thirst and affliction. God is with you. He wants you to experience and to enjoy sweet victory but if you and I fail to believe in Him and to obey Him then, how can the promise come? In that battle of life you are going through, Jehovah want to give you victory just activate your faith in God. Even as Jehovah ha...

You Will Rejoice!

You Will Rejoice! 2 Chronicles 20:27 – Then they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, and Jehoshaphat in the forefront of them, to go again to Jerusalem with joy; for the LORD had made them to rejoice over their enemies. The god that did it for Jehoshaphat has neither gone to the grave nor become obsolete. He is still the Almighty God that change not. He made Judah and Jerusalem to rejoice so will you and I rejoice over the enemies of our lives. Jehoshaphat put his trust in the Lord and did what the lord want him to do and that gave him joy as a result of sweet victory that the Lord gave to him and his people. Sweet victory is a product of certain raw materials like having faith in God and having His presence [note that God’s presence is man manifest through obedience and believe]. Heir of God, don’t be discomfited before those that have teamed up against you, just believe in God and obey His instruction [even those they may be illogical and foolish to the physical – 1 Corinthia...

March 2018 – Month of Sweet Victory!

March 2018 – Month of Sweet Victory! Joshua 10:10 – God threw them into total confusion before Israel, a major victory at Gibeon. Israel chased them along the bridge to Beth Horon and fought them all the way down to Azekah and Makkedah. (MSG) There is victory and there is total or sweet victory. The latter can be gotten by anyone except the Lord is fighting for such a one. The above scripture shows that Israel had a total and sweet victory because the Lord fought for them. In Joshua 7 when Israel rebelled against God, the reverse was the case. For God to fight for us and for us to record sweet victory in our life this month and always, one of the prerequisites is that we must have God’s presence in our life. His presence brings sweet victory. His presence brings total confusion upon the enemies of your life. God has graciously assured us sweet victory this month specifically and always, but we need to get more of His presence. We all should submerge ourselves in His presence. As we do...
