Be Focus – Spiritually
Hebrews 12:2 – Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
On the way to eternity, there are diverse things that will distract us. There are things that will try to dwindle our faith in God. There are issues that will make us to loss our salvation. How can we overcome all these things that are every present on our path to eternity? Focus!
We can only scale through the wilderness of this life when and only when we look upon to Jesus, just like the children of Israel looked at the golden serpent that was lifted up by Moses in the wilderness – Numbers 21:9. [Note that this action by Moses was an instruction from God which symbolises the lifting up of Jesus – John 3:14].
In the wilderness, those that looked to the serpent were saved, so also in this time, if we look unto Jesus, those issues that want to kill us spiritually will be of no effect just like the poison was neutralized in the wilderness.
Looking unto Jesus have a remarkable effect on our faith. The more we look unto Jesus and not unto those things surrounding us, then the more our faith is stabilized. Matthew 14:29–30. Looking unto Jesus give us strength to bear our cross and to stand for God despite the same.
Beloved, be focused spiritually!
